Hi,
I have done my BTech from JNTU - H university and wanted to send my documents for ECA. I searched through topics here but did not get a clear answer. Can anyone please please help me regarding this?

1. If we are having the Degree certificate - is it necessary to get our 10th and 12th attested?
2. If yes, then what is the procedure?
3. I have taken the DD to apply for transcripts for all my mark memos of Degree, I have also taken attestation from my college on xerox copy of my Original Degreee. So now I just need to collect the transcripts from JNTU, get my Original Degree attested from JNTU also? Is there anything else to be done here?
4. Does JNTU provide the sealed cover for put in all these transcripts? If yes, is there any separate procedure to avail this or would we get it along with the transcripts only?
5. Suppose attestation is required for my 10th(ICSE) and 12th(IPE), who does this? Do I need to go to my school and Inter college or is there any other procedure?
6. Am I missing anything else here?

I do not want to go through consultancy because they charge another 10K which I feel is a waste. Read on many forums that we can do this on our own provided that we know the correct procedure. Can someone please help me regarding these queries?

Would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance

hey mate

welcome to Express entry canada :)

here you go

1. If we are having the Degree certificate - is it necessary to get our 10th and 12th attested? No need to 10th and 12th
2. If yes, then what is the procedure? N/A
Pay the fee at the university and they will send the doc themselves...but first you need to pay the fee at WES and get ur roll number
4. Does JNTU provide the sealed cover for put in all these transcripts? If yes, is there any separate procedure to avail this or would we get it along with the transcripts only? No idea
5. Suppose attestation is required for my 10th(ICSE) and 12th(IPE), who does this? Do I need to go to my school and Inter college or is there any other procedure? No need for this
6. Am I missing anything else here?

Pay fee at WES
then apply at university to send them documents

Point No.5 above carry envelopes along with you.....to avoid head ache. These chaps may or may not provide envelopes.
Secondly, ask for three sets for all of these. You will require later on when you land in Canada, in case you want to go for further studies.

Hi everyone,

I have encountered a unique problem.

Today, I received my WES evaluation report.

In my WES application, I had mentioned 2 credentials : 1) Bachelor's degree, 2) Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Executive, full-time 2 year). However, the report which I received today has the following info:

1) The Canadian equivalence for PGDM(Executive, full-time 2 year) is written as "second undergraduate major"

How is it possible? When it is clearly a "POSTGRADUATE" Diploma, how have they categorized it as "undergraduate major" ?

2) Even though the report has listed both the credentials, its final outcome mentions ONLY Bachelor's degree.

Does my ECA means Two Post Secondary diploma or degree one out of which is for more then 3 years or does it means only Bachelors Degree?

I am confused. Please help me....

I got my ECA report ..

First report was with the name mentioned on my Masters degree and second report (came after 45 days) was with the name i desired on the report.

For indians:

Any change request in report will be considered by WES if you attached varified notary affidavits along with the application in a big envelop. this envelop will contain a small envelop for your degree marksheets or transcripts and your affidavits. Revised report wich will contain your changed data will be sent to you after 40+ days .

This is my experience.

Thanks

I have the same situation - where my post grad diploma has been assessed by WES as "completion of second undergrad major". My bachelor's degree assessed as "bachelor degree". As I understood from other posts in this case we can only chose "bachelor's degree" on EE profile and not 2 or more post grad degrees/diplomas (which would get higher points). I have written to WES to explain but not received any reply as yet...

1. If we are having the Degree certificate - is it necessary to get our 10th and 12th attested? - NO need of 10th and 12th
2. If yes, then what is the procedure? - Not applicable

- Take a DD for amount and take transcripts and consolidated marks sheet. They will provide you with a cover and with a stamp of controller over it. Take a xeros of OD and PC and put in the same cover and seal it (urself).
4. Does JNTU provide the sealed cover for put in all these transcripts? If yes, is there any separate procedure to avail this or would we get it along with the transcripts only? - explained in above point
5. Suppose attestation is required for my 10th(ICSE) and 12th(IPE), who does this? Do I need to go to my school and Inter college or is there any other procedure? - not required
6. Am I missing anything else here? - Now pay the fee and take a print of the paid receipt. go to courier and ask him for a big cover, put the sealed cover (JNTU) and the printed copy of paid receipt in the big cover and courier it

I do not want to go through consultancy because they charge another 10K which I feel is a waste. Read on many forums that we can do this on our own provided that we know the correct procedure. Can someone please help me regarding these queries?

Guys, I have a question. My WES status changed to Evaluation in progress, although WES has thus far only received the required documents for my PhD degree from UK. They havent yet received the required docs for my UK Maters and Bachelors from Pak. While filling the application, I mentioned all my degrees. Am I missing something here?

No...your file will be kept on hold untill wes receive all your documents that you've mentioned in your Eca application.
Dont worry, your application status will again convert to waiting for documents

Nope, your status will change again showing that they are still waiting for the rest of your paperwork. The same thing happened to me. They got one piece from me and then it went to "evaluation in progress" even though they still needed my transcripts. Then a few days later it had "accepted" next to the stuff I sent in and a "waiting" status for the rest. It takes them a few days to update online. So, don't worry yet. :)

As per my knowledge you already have Bachelors degree assessed by WES and the degree (Post Graduate Diploma) is considered as second undergraduate major. The undergraduate major means post secondary diploma only for the duration equivalent to which the post graduate diploma program was for.

So the both are assessed and to be considered as 2 post secondary diploma or degree one which is for the period equal or more then 3 years.
