Not sure - I did come across this post in another thread:lenium said:Does anybody know what's the average time between getting the Decision made status on ECAS and the oath letter being sent out?
So it looks like it takes roughly 2-3 weeks for them to mail it out - in this case 24 days from ecas to getting the letter. This is similar to what strawberrylemonade said about the letter taking 2 weeks. Since my ecas changed on the 11th August, I'm hoping to get my letter by 4th September, if the 24 days rule holds!USNick said:My timeline with details:
Took test on July 15, 2015 at Kitchener Office.
Ecas status changed to "Decision Made" on July 17, 2015. No further details provided when clicking the link; in fact, my Ecas never updated with a line about sending my test invitation.
Ecas updated August 9, 2015 to say that my oath invitation had been mailed August 5.
Received oath invitation in the mail August 10, 2015. Oath ceremony is August 28, 2015 in Kitchener which is just when the agent at my interview expected it to be (even a bit earlier...she said my oath might be in September, if not by the end of August).
If you did electronic finger printing, it's very possible that "decision is made".drunkhead said:I got the status changed to decision made today. But it doesn't look true, because I got fingerprint request on 30th July, the day of my test and which makes it non routine. And it can't be so quick from that to this

My timeline is similar to yours, but i did the test 23rd of June. Almost 2 months passed since the test. Decision made June 29th. No updates other than that. I think because we are feb 2015 applicants, we are still waiting a little. officer said 1-3 months for me..so i'm guessing we should hear something in the next 4 weeks.John_Dorry said:I had "Decision Made" on July 18 (4 days after my test), it was a month ago, and still havent received anything (no letter, no email, no ecas update)...
congratulationsCanadaJimmy said:My Ecas just updated! I have been invited to take the oath of citizenship and should receive the letter soon (it was mailed Aug 19th)! Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
