Received today a letter to appear to 1st Sept Oath Ceremony in Montreal ! Ecas shows the same information today. I'll keep you updated !

I really hope we'll hear something next week.... ;) There are new ceremonies scheduled in Montreal for sept 1st and 2nd.... Fingers crossed !

I'm a feb 2015 applicant, and took my test on July 14 in Montreal. I had Decision Made on July 18, but since then, no news, no oath letter, no update on my ecas...

I had "Decision Made" on July 18 (4 days after my test), it was a month ago, and still havent received anything (no letter, no email, no ecas update)...

Not yet... I'll let you know when I have ! I hope it will be this week...

Usually, all the next citizenship ceremonies were displayed here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/citcer/search-recherche-eng.aspx But today, all citizenship ceremonies seems to have disappeared ! :o Has anyone noticed this ?

No invitation for kids (<14 years) No obligation to attend the test / interview Dont forget, while you write the test, kids are not alowed to be with you..

Nothing says that your actual passport has to be valid on the test day. But it is specified that you have to take with you all your passports (valid and expired). Dont worry about that, it should be ok. To me, its not necessary to renew it, unless you have to travel outside the country. Good...

- the way the questions were asked is sometimes strange - some questions were true / false - sports related questions - you have to know the national anthem - ...

Just attended the test, 20/20. Be carefull, its not that easy ! People should read carefully the book... Online tests are not enough... The citizenship officer was very kind, she carefully checked all my documents, and passport (id, stamps,...) Next step : oath (she said in 2 to 4 months...)...

Great ! I hope the 2nd letter is about the oath... Still no news ! I asked the postwoman who usualy delivers our mail, she told me that 15 days is more than too much for receiving a letter, supposed to be sent on june 16... But Cic considers that it is a normal timing, they can only take action...
