Aspat, I would not cancel your test date. It could even lead to RQ.

If you can delay the start of your vacation do it.

Yep. Done that. Lighter by a thousand dollars - for 2 kids and me. Hopefully, it will be worth it. As in no RQ or other associated hassles. :)

Called CIC again to find out if I needed to notify Scarborough of my decision to postpone my vacation. She said it was not required and that I should just go there on the 5th with the notice. Hopefully, they won't turn me away after all my efforts. ;)

Anyone in a similar position?

My file was transferred to Mississauga but the test notice was issued by Scarborough. Wonder why!?

Good for you Aspat. I'm sure it will all be OK :)

I think some files are being transferred there? No idea

if you read the 3 steps of processing the citizenship app, you will find out that processing = transfer.

My major concern is my residence address is missing online and mailing address is soon to change. I don't know if I should do mail fwd with Canada post or change address online. If I do change online is that going to effect my application/delay the process or not show address a lot. And I do change it online, their website is soo messed up I don't know it will update the actually file even. And they might still send mail to old mailing address.

Checked my status today and file was transferred to local office on 23-June. :) :) :) But don't know which office. :( :( :(

Below is the line that I see in e-Cas. Is this normal? How do I know which office have they transferred my file to? ::)

"Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 23, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you."

Just attended the test, 20/20. Be carefull, its not that easy !
People should read carefully the book... Online tests are not enough...
The citizenship officer was very kind, she carefully checked all my documents, and passport (id, stamps,...)

Next step : oath (she said in 2 to 4 months...)

Good luck to all !

Congrats!!! what were the difficult questions???

Also make sure you study the pictures in the book and the text that goes with them.

After taking the test on Wednesday, my Ecas was changed to "Decision Made" today. However, when clicking on the link for more details, there is still no line of information after "We started processing your application on April 7." So....seems like some things get updated, while others don't. As long as that oath letter comes, I don't care what may Ecas says. ;)
