Hi all
I have submitted my application on March 17th 2017.
First update was the query of our WES ICAP then they updated the account with "we will conduct background check".
Now the latest update is "medical passed" and background check is "not applicable".
Pls guide why there's change in background check instead of "in process".

I thought seeing people get PPR around my AOR date would make me feel better but it's the complete opposite, I'm a BAG OF NERVES!!

Our time line is same. I am having the same feeling. I feel like calling CIC and check if the eligibility is done. But my agent told me not to give unnecessary calls to CIC. very hard time waiting.

hey guy, does anyone know how to go into my cic account and see the mailing address they have for you. the reason i asked is i sent in a case for them to change my address as I am out of the country studying for school and will be back in canada in august.

I can see people around the time that I submitted by PR getting PPR and I am wondering how will I go about sending my passport when they sent me the PPR request cause I will be in Peru forr 3 months for school

Please let me know if you have any suggestions, I appreciate it !

I did , I sent them a case inquiry email stating my new mailing address and also explained why I was out of the country.

How do i update my status? what do you recommend?

Got ppr last night! This forum is really helpful.
For those with no update from CIC , don't panic. My background check status was always "next step is to conduct background check" until yesterday morning and I got golden mail in the afternoon.

Here is my timeline:
eAOR- 3 March, 2017
Medicals Passed - April 12, 2017
BG-next step is to conduct background check - April 12, 2017
BG-In progress - May 25, 2017 (I checked my account almost everyday and there was no change like NA or IP for 1.5 month)
PPR- May 25, 2017

Yes, I applied Mar 14 and 1 dependent.
Well, in my case I am waitin for request for RPRF as I dint pay it upfront.
Only then I can expect IP2.

Maybe your RPRF and IP2 would come together.

Seems like your timeline is exactly one week after mine, all the status updates are exactly one week after mine.
So if mine changes you can expect the change one week after.
