Thank you very much for the help.I think it really depends on the agent who's processing your case. I've seen both results. Maybe post a new thread to ask senior members, they may be able to give you better advice before you call tomorrow.

There are two applicants in my case, me and my partnerCongrats!! Are you single or you have dependents?
While hong kong doesn't accpet personal applications for police certificate, a letter from cic is required. And in cic website, hong kong pcc is not required when submitting the application but an explanation letter should be attached to say a letter from cic is needed to apply the application. So hong kong pcc is a unique case.@sasakaka, congratulations on your PPR! You didn't submit the HKPCC initially when you applied, did you? Did cic notify you to submit one from HK? Cuz I didn't submit PCC from my home country because I have never spent for more than 6 months since I came to Canada, I wonder whether I need to submit one now. I haven't gotten any notification for additional documents yet.
Yes, that is perfectly normal. Your account status will remain the same until your passport is sent and your file is approved and closed. So all the ppr guys,
after getting the ppr email, your cic account status is still the same with before, right?
mine background is in process, eligibility is in process, decision is in process, everything is in process,
is this normal?
Lack of PCC can lead to refusal. You should raise CSE asap. However, the chance of refusal still happen because sometimes the officer may reach your application before they receive the note from CSE. The best way is that if you can take your money back, just withdraw it and re-apply. Good luck.Should be pretty fast, just don't know whether they would consider it incomplete or would send a request for the police certificate. I'm so worried now
Well he/she meant Sydney Nova Scotia, as all inlander CEC are assessed at CPC ottawa.Sydney, Ontario, not the Sydney in Australia.
Congrats!!!Got ppr last night! This forum is really helpful.
