For those with no update from CIC , don't panic. My background check status was always "next step is to conduct background check" until yesterday morning and I got golden mail in the afternoon.
Here is my timeline:
eAOR- 3 March, 2017
Medicals Passed - April 12, 2017
BG-next step is to conduct background check - April 12, 2017
BG-In progress - May 25, 2017 (I checked my account almost everyday and there was no change like NA or IP for 1.5 month)
PPR- May 25, 2017
also maybe for those who get no updates and have waited for 80days.....Can we expect that people will received PPR today...whose status change to IP2 on 24 May
