Got PPR email just now!!!

CEC-Inland
AOR - March 18
IP1 - April 5
ME & Additional Doc (Hong Kong PCC) - April 6
PPR - May 25

My timeline is PPR direct from IP1, no NA no IP2.
This morning I called cic to see whether they received my Hong Kong PCC because HKPCC is sent to cic directly by police. They said it has been received on 19 May and I passed criminality check but they won't tell me more. And afternoon I got the PPR email.

Congrats!! Are you single or you have dependents?

hey guys, I have a question, you will need to submit a police certificate from your home country even if you didn't spend 6 months in a row right? for example, you returned to your home country for two months, came back to Canada for one year, and then return for another two months, do you still need to submit policy certificate from your home country?

@sasakaka, congratulations on your PPR! You didn't submit the HKPCC initially when you applied, did you? Did cic notify you to submit one from HK? Cuz I didn't submit PCC from my home country because I have never spent for more than 6 months since I came to Canada, I wonder whether I need to submit one now. I haven't gotten any notification for additional documents yet.

I guess if you left your home country before you turned 18 and never went back, you don't need police certificate.

I think so.
I'm so scared now because I only submitted one for Canada, but not for my home country. While the cic account's police certificate states "multiple" my account currently also states "we do not addition documents". I don't know what to do, I can't submit any additional documents to the account now. just emailed cic and gonna call them tmr.

yea, call them tomorrow. Also wait to see what other senior members say. I would just raise CSE to add the certificate just in case. Does it take long to get police certificate from your home country tho?

Should be pretty fast, just don't know whether they would consider it incomplete or would send a request for the police certificate. I'm so worried now

I think it really depends on the agent who's processing your case. I've seen both results. Maybe post a new thread to ask senior members, they may be able to give you better advice before you call tomorrow.
