hi frnds.. i have applied from dubai. now m in india & sent my pp to ndvo, plz let me know is it ok if i will go canada via dubai,m planing to stay 1 week in dubai for my dubai visa cancellation and my salary clearance ..nd i was nominated by saskatchewan so is it must to land in same province if yes then after how much time we can change the province.. thanks

you need 14 days visa in Dubai for your stay in Dubai, it is ok to stay in Dubai if your flight is via Dubai.
PNP Saskatchewan, I think you have to complete Saskatchewan requirements in Saskatchewan. and you have to complete all formalities after getting your Passport then you can move anywhere.
I have also selected Saskatchewan (SK) but I am FSW, therefore I can stay anywhere because my application is Federal and not Provincial.

Finally passports +3 photos submitted at Canadian Embassy at Abu Dhabi

Need to wait for 10 working days, Aramex will be delivering the Passport.

Let's hope for the best.

Note:

1) Embassy is open to public only on Monday and Wednesday (9.30 to 11 am)
2) Queue start from 9am, try to reach earlier

My case was tranferred from London to Paris office due to workload at london office

I got PPR from paris office to submit PP at abu dhabi office

Ottawa: The UAE will nix costly visa requirements imposed on Canadian travellers as of June 1, officials said on Tuesday, ending a row between the two countries that started in 2010 over aviation rights.

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird and his UAE counterpart, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had agreed last month to restoring the previous visa regime.

The agreement has now been formalised, Baird told reporters, calling it “a tremendously important signal to the world that bilateral relations between our two countries are strong and getting stronger each and every day.”

“We are on an upward trajectory,” he said.

The UAE in January 2011 started charging Canadians $1,000 for a six-month multiple entrance visa, while three-month and one-month visas cost $500 and $250 respectively.

The steep hikes in obtaining a visa for the UAE came as the two countries had been at odds over landing rights in Canada for UAE-based carriers and the closure of a UAE military base to Canadian use.

congratz ....I have applied almost the same time as you .. I always compared timelines as we had similar application times... I did my medical last month... but they asked me to supply proof of funds as the documents I sent where not sufficient... and now I sent new funds record yesterday... so I hope all goes well and I get my PP soon.
