Yep..... for your personal records u keep TC and marksheets but my 2c were for the school admission in Canada that u don't need all this for gettings ur kids admitted in the school... BTW where are u landing ?

July/Aug is the peak season, so all prices are high..
Egypt air is the cheapest, but some of my travel sector friends recommended not to opt for that since the transit might not be smooth.. Since we are making our first landing, dont want to take a risk and have chosen Emirates..Funny part is, Etihad, KLM, Luftansa - all are costlier than Emirates...

I m planning in aug beginning, KLM seems to be reasonable

We are making our permanent move in August and have got a good fare on Cathay - the journey is long but we were trying to get the best deal. You should check out makemytrip.ae & cleartrip.ae. Both are good sites.
You will probably get a good deal on BA/AA codesharing flights. We didnt opt for that since it transits through Heathrow and I'd rather pay more than transit through that airport ( some of the rudest airport staff we have ever met - just a personal point of view)
Also Rejis is absolutely right avoid Egypt Air.

Hi unni,

Nothing to worry, you should get the PP back in another 2-3 weeks time..
I had submitted my PP by hand through a friend of mine and got it within 2 weeks (submission only on Thursday 2-3pm and collection on second Thursday, same time)

Does anybody know a good car rental agency/website to get a deal on car rentals

What I have seen on the net is scary in terms of prices

I'm looking for a minivan/medium SUV for a month/4 weeks as it will help us in bringing stuff home as we settle down in out first month there post which we will buy a car

I was hoping to hire a car from YYZ itself to save on double renting cost

Any help would be appreciated
