Thank you for feedback.Vigilant said:Hi,

The trick is to not keep thinking of the application and the outcome. We applied in 2010 and wrote to LVO only once. It took almost four years to get the PPR. Just forget about it and continue with your life; business as usual.hopeforfuture said:Good Morning forum
On May 3rd I sent CSE informing London VO that my medicals are expiring in few days ,Today they responded as following:
This application is still under review with an officer. You should be hearing from us Shortly.
please be advised that I have extended your medicals they are now valid until May 2015,a short landing will not be necessary.
what do u think guys?
How much short is Shortly?did anyone esquire the same?
they extend the medicals one year from now do you think they will delay ppr more?
what do they mean by Short landing is not required?
After almost 4 years where all our life was on hold and with all the frustration this email seems to be like the light at the end of the tunnel.
Congratulations on getting medical extension. It is rare these days.hopeforfuture said:Good Morning forum

Shortly doesn't mean anything for LVO, he is just being polite
Short landing means that you have to rush to Canada just to land and come back to settle your affairs in your current country of residence.

Yes your assumption is correct. NDVO holds the passport till visa is issued (can be many months sometimes) after MR and this is not practical from NRIs and hence you have not been requested for the passport.Get2243 said:Hi,I did my medical on april 23rd... yet to receive ppr...
My vo is new delhi.... I think its unusual for ndvo to not request for pp during medical... I assume its because of my current place of residence which is UAE, like some forumites had mentioned... Anybody with similar experience. like me...?? when did u get ur ppr???
