“ Dual “ means two parts . The LMIA would be one part , what is the other part if you’re asking about “ Dual Intent” ?Hi,

No, I just wanted to know about the work permit.“ Dual “ means two parts . The LMIA would be one part , what is the other part if you’re asking about “ Dual Intent” ?
It will be a closed work permit. A dual intent LMIA means you can use the LMIA for both immigration purposes and to obtain a work permit. However the work permit will certainly be a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.Hi,

Actually, there is. This is the common term used to refer to LMIAs that can be used for both immigration purposes (to get 50 job offer points through Express Entry), as well as also allowing you to apply for a work permit. There is nothing called a dual intent LMIA. No. Dual intent LMIAs can be used for two purposes - both immigration and also to obtain a work permit. Hence the "intent" in "dual intent".“ Dual “ means two parts . The LMIA would be one part , what is the other part if you’re asking about “ Dual Intent” ?
