Hi All,
I have received a PNP certificate from province but before I accept I got an ITA through CEC stream in recent draw. So, now I want to go with CEC and while filling the application for Permanent Residence there is a question "Has <name> received a nomination certificate from a province or territory?" .For this question ,Do I need to select yes or no in my case as I have not accepted the PNP and want to go with CEC specific draw ITA? If I select "Yes" and provides the province name will there be a problem in later stage of processing my PR application?
Please help me in clarifying in this .
Thanks in Advance
I am also in same dilemma

There is a difference between receiving and accepting. I would say yes. Fact is you have received an ITA for CEC so your Nomination becomes redundant. Best to be truthful as IRCC already have been notified that you were nominated

Is there any chance of getting ITA if we submit application immediately after the draw and our points are higher than cutt-off?

No. Draw would have taken the candidate count and details already and moved to next state. So It will not look back and pick up .

Hello guys. I got an invitation from IRCC on February 14.
I wanna know what is the difference between Letter of Employment, Employment Records and Offer of Employment?
Im on a pgwp currently working in Alberta.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Letter of Employment should be a reference letter from the HR team saying my duty,my salary, etc?
Employment Records: Pay stub and T4?
Offer of Employment: my contract?
Correct. However both should include your position, whether it is/was full time or part time, your pay, your hours, your duties.
Yes I think T4s and Paystubs would suffice as employment records

Congratulations to all who got invited in this great draw!

Please feel free to join, we have experts like @legalfalcon @caipsnotes who provide there amazing advise!

All the eligible applicants will receive ITA within 24-48 hours!
Urgent Question: I have an IELTS score of 5.5 in writing (All other modules are 6 and above). I received an ITA under CEC. I remember the language criterion was IELTS 6 minimum in all modules. Should I go and submit my documents or reappear in IELTS? am confused and want to confirm. Any suggestions or advise is highly appreciated. Many thanks

I dont think you would have received an ITA if IRCC felt your language ability did not meet the minimum requirements. And here is proof
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ss-entry/documents/language-requirements.html

Minimum is CLB 5 or IELTS 5

Does it Offer Of employment is for only the current Job or Is it for all previous jobs?

If a candidate has performed multiple jobs, do we get multiple sets of 'Offer Of Employment' Section to add it individually.
Little confused on this. experts please suggest.

Hi guys,

I was told that it's ok to upload my old photo, which I took during summer last year for my another visa application (same size), then I can reupload the latest one once I received the passport request. Is this true ?. Thank you.

Was it necessary to have at least 1 year of Canadian experience to be included in this draw? My points usually come up to 412 excluding the 1 year experience.
