I am confused with the tie-breaking rule concept. For example-

A created a profile on May 12, 2020 and has a CRS point 100.
B created a profile on January 12, 2021 and has a a CRS point 400.
A and B qualify for CEC.

Based on todays draw, who will be invited? Both? Or preference will be given to the one who created before September 12, 2020 and scored above 75 crs point, which is only A?
Tie breaker rule only applies for lowest score. So if your score is above 75 why would you look at the tie breaker rule? they literally invited all of the CEC candidates. its not even possible to have a score as low as 75

It was draw only for them who submitted their profile before 12 september
No - that's not true. This is just the tie breaking rule.

In an effort to help more skilled workers stay in Canada and bolster our economic recovery, approximately 27,300 workers with Canadian experience received an invitation today to apply for permanent residence. These workers fall under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) of the Express Entry pool. Successful CEC candidates have at least 1 year of Canadian work experience, have proven that they can contribute to our economy and have paid taxes. Those who receive an invitation have 90 days to submit their complete application.

Hey Everyone,

I currently have 473 points under CEC and have declined the invitation twice in January and Feb 2021 due to various reasons.

I was waiting to get the invitation today to accept it but haven't received anything yet.

Was declining it twice previously a reason for not getting it today? Should i be worried?

Appreciate your help!

Thank you
You decline doesnt affect at all. If you profile is submitted and still on the POOL, You will get it if you meet the points.
It might take 24-48 hours to receive. Few lucky mates got it early, Many are awaiting it. I'm on Waiting Boat.

So we might need to wait 24-48 hours

My friend is one of those unlucky ones. He is in Canada and has a score of 420, but he was working towards improving his IELTS score. Unfortunately, he did not submit his profile. Otherwise, he would have got the invite. I kept telling him to just apply for the sake of getting on the train. Massive miss for him. Congrats to everyone who got the invite today. Celebrate fellas.
That sucks. I was thinking this morning that there must be a number of people in this situation. Oh well - you gave him good advice.
