My application (skilled worker) is being processed in London VO. I have done my medicals in 26th of October 2011.
Since then I have nt heared back from them! I have sent my RPRF. Status still In Process. It is now more than 4 months
and I'm so worried!

Any advice help please?

have you tried sending a case specific enquiry or order GCMS/CAIPS note to see if it will help.

You r not alone. London VO is already slower than others. It also depends upon how fast security check is carried out; people from "certain" countries take longer time for security check up.

Thank you for your reply. I am Egyptian who lived in UK for 6 years as a student. Now I have moved back to Egypt
after finishing my studies. I have a post-study work permit in UK for 2 years. I shall travel to stay in UK next month.
You mentioned ppl from certain countries, Do you think in my situation security checks would be slow?

Yes kannadakanmani, I can see several ppl saying the same but the only thing
unique to me is my status! It has not been changes from in process although
I sent them my medicals last October. I also sent the RPRF.

Many thanks Hondubai, They asked for a police certificate last June from UK and I sent it to them.
They have not asked for one from home country recently (I mean apart from the one in the start
of application).

I have also done my medicals in October 2011 and sent an email to London office in March and they replied that they are waiting for background checks.

i have done my medical on 4th nov 2011 , my visa office is buffao
still waiting for ppr , i dont know how long it take more
according cic , they are doing varifiction regarding AEO
they started varfiaction after 4 months of medical

hello Sherine,
I think there is a similarity in our situations.
I'm egyptian as well and living outside of Egypt: UAE
I submitted the med results and the RFRP by 17nov2011 it reached them..
and yes along with updated police clearance from UAE that they asked for..

and still no reply till now.. it shows in process only
I did send them an email they replied that they are doing background check

waiting blindly is really bad.. and I said in another post: it's so near but not yet confirmed.. it's eating me

everyone on the forum is saying it's really near and soon it will come..
so let's hope that what is hapenning in our country is not affecting our process and it's only a matter of a lazy officer)
