Hi Sherin,

I actually have completed my Medicals on July 3rd, but still no news about PPR request. It has been 8 months. And also, even my case has not been updated by 'Medicals Received'. It still shows the case is under process. My Visa office is also London, but I live in Dubai.

I guess like everyone else says, it depends on the country you are from and the security concerns and backgrounds take time.

Lets hope for the best!

Background checks are outstanding at present on your application

Aha I c.. it's almost exactly the same that I got, my line was:

your application is awaiting the results of routine background checks.


I think it's waiting phase only, till the Egyptian authorities make the background check easy for the immigration officers..

London VO. I am perparing now for passport submission.

as well. My medicals were done last week of October. Probably it is a matter of more few days

I hv applied thru consultant and LVO has not yet replied to the enquiry by my consultant sent 2 wks ago.now im considering myself to send an enquiry.what do u suggest.

Thanks Islamabad. I applied in November 2009. File referred to London VO
Jan 2010. Processing started in Sept 2010. Medicals done last October.
