I remember seeing a person on this forum last year who was sponsored by her husband/common-law partner (I can't remember) at 19 years old and he was 9 years older than her. She was moving from the US to Quebec. As other's have said, it depends on cultural background.

My husband is 10 years older than me, but I'm from the US. I've dealt with a few judgmental people from time to time, but most of the people I've known at least could have cared less about our age difference. We have a solid application with a lot of proof of relationship, so I don't expect to need an interview or have any issues with my application.

8 years is not a very big age difference.

You need to provide very strong evidence in your application that your relationship is genuine.

Is your wife also of South Asian (Pakistani) descent?

If so, this could cause some issues. That is quite an age gap for where the wife is older than the husband, especially from South Asia. Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understand it is very rare for the woman to be much older than the man in that region while it is more common for the man to be much older than the woman.

IRCC goes by what it considers to be "cultural" norms.

My wife is a Canadian born she was Christian bur after meeting me she accepted islam.
She is divorced from the past 11 years and we met each other online and fell in love .
She is going to stay in Pakistan for 5 months after marriage and then she ll sponsor me after going back to Canada
.

Meeting online and a big age gap are big red flags. If you two have only met once in person that's another red flag. You'll need strong evidence of your relationship and plan for longer then average processing time.
