Does anyone know when is the draw for the parent sponsorship raffle?

The CIC website only states "After February 2".
Did anyone get notified that they have won, or didn't win ?
 
Hi guys!

The confirmation page said that the end of the 30 day period, I though it should be today
Anxiously waiting...
 
I wonder what they will do with the many people that won't go through with the process. I'm sure that a lot of people threw their name in "just in case", and will change their minds if they actually won. Are they going to redraw a someone to take their spot? Probably not.
 
I know many people who thought it's a real lottery without any specific requirements and as CIC posted the detailed eligibility criteria after opening the forms they just put their names in!

There should be more than 50K in the pool >:(
 
My bet is that next year there will be a fee for participating. That will filter out most of the tire-kickers and lazy opportunists.

Unsubstantiated reports give an estimate of 2.5 million entries. Of those, an estimated 85% are flawed, giving a potential pool size of about 370,000. Enjoy...

Yeah.. Numbers were adjusted downwards to 2.1million. My mistake...
