Document Checklist Sponsor Question 14

Hi,

I submitted my application back in august but I didn't tick Question 14: Photocopy of your marriage certificate if you have a co-signer and he or she is your spouse. on sponsorship checklist and didn't send photocopy of marriage certificate with the sponsorship package but I sent original marriage certificate with Principal applicant package and tick that field on principal applicant checklist. Is that Okay? As there is no co-signer when you're sponsoring your spouse and the question says photocopy of your marriage certificate if you have a co-signer. I received my GCMS notes couple of days ago and they didn't write about Proof of relationship: marriage certificate on my notes where as when I see notes of other friends I can see they mentioned Proof of relationship: marriage certificate on their notes. I'm worried now they probably lost my marriage certificate or its because I didn't tick question 14 :/

if you received an AOR and you application was transferred, then that suggests they consider the application complete and the sponsor has been approved. both applications are submitted together, only 1 copy of the marriage certificate is required. if it was in the package, then they have it. there's no reason to assume this is an issue until IRCC tells you it's an issue.

there's also no reason to compare your GCMS notes to other people's. Each application is unique, and not all visa officers write the same notes in the file. if there is an issue, and IRCC needs something, they will ask you for it.

i left some unticked questions and left answers blank. i had no issue with my processing.
