Do you need official appraisal documents for all the jewelry you bring in during your first landing?

Hey guys, I was wondering what the official method is to bringing in all your jewlery during the very first landing in Canada.

Will my husband need to provide official appraisal documents for every piece of jewlery that he is bringing in? Or does he not need any appraisal documents? And lastly, is there a limit?

Thank you :)

1. Valuation and photos of expensive jewellery will save you a lot of time on future entries while wearing/Carrying having to prove to CBSA that it was included on your your GTF/GTA lists.

Okay, so you're saying that we should get all the jewlery properly appraised before coming to Canada?

On your first landing during sponsorship, there is NO limit to the amount of jewelry you bring in.

You do have a Cash Limit of $10,000.

We landed last month, and aksed no question in item values, they only ask about how much actual case you bring with you.
