I know it says to list your spouse/common law partner and children but should I mention my mom as well.

I can't remember if I did that for the last one I send or not. Lol.

Which form are you asking about?

There are 3 or 4 that ask for informaiton about famimly members... a form number would be helpful...

do you mean visa extension? if yes, your mother will have to file a separate application.

No my mom isn't with me. I am here alone.

On the form IMM 1249 it asks you to list your family members.
On the first page of the extension application.

If your mom isn't with you she's not affected by the application and should therefore not be included.

Hi,

page 9:

B – My Family Members
You must give information about your family members. Family members are your spouse or
common-law partner, your own dependent children or those of your spouse or common-law partner
and the dependent children of dependent children. A common-law partner is a person of the opposite
or same sex who is currently cohabiting and has cohabited in a conjugal relationship with you for a
period of at least one year.
Dependent children may be your own children or those of your spouse or common-law partner.

So your mom is not a "family member".

Thank you for clearing this up for me. :)
Can't believe I read over that...lol. I must have had my mind somewhere else when I was reading that. Anyway, thanks again.
