Do Canadian Embassy verifies the bank balance with Bank in Saudi Arabia?

I want to apply for Student Visa, i am not aware whether Embassy will confirm and validate the bank balance with bank or no? Please confirm me. Thank You

They do not need to do that. They ask YOU to provide a statement for the past four months to see the turnover on your bank account. Also, they ask you to show /explain where your money came from.

Absolutely Wrong. They never ask you to explain where the money came from. They just want to see if you have sufficient funds thats all

ur question is confusing u have to show funds while applying for a visa u most likely would have to attach bank statements...by ur question i am getting a feeling ur trying to submit false documents or u dont have enough funds. Again u have to submit bank statements/bank documents and yes they can contact ur bank if they feel ur documents r false....

Correct. They do not ask about the amount on account but they can ask if the amount shown on the statement or the statement itself is false.

They have every right to do so if they wish.

Also, you should be aware that if any documents are found to be false, they will reject you for misrepresentation. This carries a two year bar from re-applying

A member on this forum sfaisal recently confirmed that his bank's branch manager had received a call from CHC regarding his bank statement. So yes CHC often checks for the authenticity of the provided documents.

I can't answer this question precisely as I am not a person who receives those calls.
Probably they ask Account title, Maintained since when, few transactions, current balance, etc...

I don't think they can get that much information without the bank account holder's permission. I mean wouldn't it be illegal it's personnel information.

sponsor usually write on affidavit that they can access the information of particular bank account, therefore its 100% legal...
