Wait. Since you are a new kit applicant, updated Schedule A (2017) will suffice. Maybe the attached 2012 version was just part of their robotic response.

they sent me a request back in march... and i sent the new one... below is EXACTLY what they are asking for... click thje link for schedule a and it brings you to a 2012 version:

Please submit an updated version of Schedule A Background / Declaration form (IMM 5669) for you. In section 8, specify in English or French the months and years of each of your activities and indicate your precise occupation (exact job title, unemployed, student, visitor, detainee, etc.) since you are 18 of age. Please avoid unclear information such as “employed” and leave no gap between activities. In section 12, specify in English or French the months and years of each of your addresses where you lived since you are 18 of age. Leave no gap between addresses. The following gaps need to be covered:  In section 8 Personal History, from 06/2007 up to date with NO GAPS in timeline, please include periods in Canada  In section 12 Addresses, from 06/2007 up to date with NO GAPS in timeline, please include periods in Canada. This document has to be duly completed as you will not have another opportunity to do so. If you fail to follow these instructions, your application may be refused. To access the form, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf

Oh yeah, they are specifically referring to the old one -- mentioning Section 8 and Section 12, because the sections are different in the new one. Follow the instructions then.

But you know what, do as they say and add the latest version. Exactly copy the information from old to new, will be a lot of work, but you can't go wrong with that. And then, just add a cover letter as to why you are submitting both.

Sounds good. Thank you
Same thing happened to me from Mexico asking for divorce papers. It was a standard email they sent. We attached a letter explaining no marriage or living together happened prior to my marriage with husband even though my husband has a child and they accepted that answer with no questions asked.
