Disadvantage of PNP?

I am considering the ddisadvantage of PNP. After getting accepted by PNP, do we have to settle in the province that grants me the immigration? My occupation is very rare in Canada in general, and thus I am contemplating staying in the province for 2 months and moving back to my country. I will continue to search for jobs in the province, while working in my current job in my country. Will this lead to something bad later when I apply for citizenship? That is, will the province find this out after granting me immigration? Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes, your primary intention should be to try your best to settle down in the province and establish yourself which would in-turn benefit the you as well as the province. But there is a lot of debate going saying once you have been awarded a PR you are free to go anywhere in canada. I do not think they can restrict you from moving you out of country, that's completely up to you. I believe you will qualify to apply for citizenship after 4 continuous years of stay as a PR. In you case, if you intend to go out and return back after a while, you counter will start from day you re-enter again. There are lot of folks who get the PR card and re-enter at a later time.

Thanks for your reply. I have been thinking seriously about your answer.

Let's assume that I do not quit my current job in my country, before moving to Ontario and stay there for two months and then move bavk to my own country. I continue to work on my old job in my own country. At the same time, I keep applying jobs in Ontario and other provinces. Later, when I apply for citizenship, I will need to give them my work history. Will they think that I HAD NO intention to stay in Ontario BACK THEN and reject my application? Intention to stay in a specific province is the requirement of PNP and do you think that NOT quitting your old job in your own country as a violation pf such an intention?

Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Just my 2c:

All you need to sign is an intention to live in the province. An intention is just an intention - as long as you are not signing anything saying you will live in the province for xx years, you can move anywhere you want.
