One last thing if anyone can suggest. Does minor child US born living in Canada who undergoes sponsorship require to give biometrics. Please suggest
If child is a US citizen they are visa exempt and can visit Canada for up to 6 months. In many provinces the child will not qualify for public healthcare until they are a PR so you should take out emergency medical insurance and pay for any routine care. Would look at the eligibility requirements to qualify for healthcare in the province you are living in and also determine what RO are needed to qualify For heakthcare in that province. Having a valid health card does not mean you qualify for public healthcare. You need a valid card and need to meet the RO to qualify for healthcare in that province.

Only photo of the child being sponsored. If there are concerns about whether the child is yours a DNA test is ordered as proof not photos of you all as a family. Sponsorship will take 5-12+ months. If the child is in Canada with you you likely qualify for child benefit. The child will need to obtain a TRV and if denied a TRP can be attempted. The parent sponsoring should be compliant with their RO and needs to be in Canada.
Hi Sir, My child has a US passport, so it does not require visitor visa exclusively. Once i file sponsorship will they be issuing TRV first?

They can enter Canada without applying for a TRV. They will get a stay for up to 6 months. You can apply to extend it. To sponsor your child you should be compliant with your RO.

Thank You Sir. Need one last help, while filing generic form 008, 5604,5481 the instructions say that they have to be signed digitally but in form while filing on CIC PR portal don't see any provision to sign on it exclusively. Can anyone suggest. Will CIC does not return application if sign is missing in form.

Cant' help you with specifics, but in any doubt whatsoever - sign again in ink (and scan). They do send things back for not being signed. They don't send them back for not doing 'digital' if signed physically - at least never heard of such a case.

Hi,

When did you submit application, and after how much time the AOR was received?

Hi. I need your advice on my child sponsorship case. My application was rejected due to missing a Consent and Declaration form which has to be signed by the Principal Applicant. I am very worried since my son age will be 22 in September. I began my application in July 2022 which has not been going well. This was my 3rd time to be rejected. I always followed the checklists careful.
I am not sure which is the correct Consent and Declaration form to look for. Is it Imm 5604? My son is almost 22? Can I use it?
My son supposed to come with me when my husband sponsored our family but he decided to stay back to finish his university study. You think he still has a chance to be sponsored by me.
Please help to give me an advice as soon as possible. I greatly appreciated it.
Thank you

If the child is under the age of 22 (which it sounds like he is until September), then yes.

Did he sign the form IMM5669? Did / does the other parent have custody? (Which shouldn't be relevant as over age 18 but just checking)

It may help if you could post the text of the rejection. Also important, it sounds like the application was returned, not 'rejected.'

And given that this is your third time - you may want to hire a professional eg a lawyer to ensure. Given timeframe, this may be the last chance to do it correctly.

Note it is possible that it was an error on part of IRCC. But let's not focus on that now.

Hi Armour. I found out what I did wrong my last application. I signed the Consent and Declaration. My son should be the one. I am doing a new resubmission again by going step by step. I hope you could give some guides along the way. Appreciate your help very much.
On the form Imm 1344. IRCC still requires me and my son to hand signed our signatures. Can I copy, print, copy and email my son the only page that requires signauture? I do not want to email him the entire copy of Imm 1344 since the code bar number may be changed after download and print. Am I correct? How can I upload to the PR portal again? The original Imm 1344 will not allow copy and scan form?
Thank you very much for helping me.

I have another problem. My son police clearance has just expired. I am asking my son to redo it however it may take at 6 weeks to get. Could I write a letter of explaination to explain to the IRCC and still submit the expired one? Thank you very much.
