Can I ask from where did u applied for child sposnership?
Do we have to create online account in child name ?
I used the portal, and I created account for my kid's name as she is the principal applicant.

I have some more question can u plz answer like
1. Final consent and declration it is to be digitally signed by me on behalf of my child or how?
2. And in form 1344 , we shd selelct no in cosigner ?
3. As we select no do we need amy letter of explaination?
4. How much time it take you to sponser your child?
You sign your name on behalf of your kid. I don't have a cosigner, and no letter of explanation too. I applied August 2023, and still processing up to this moment. Waiting for the passport stamping.
August= submitted the application
October= received AOR
= linked to gckey
Oct 16= sponsor eligibility approval
Oct 18= medical request
Nov 8= medical passed
June 7, 2024= received pre-arrival letter
June 24= PPR

Thank you. This helps. How do you check the status of the application? I have signed up for the IRCC Status Tracker: https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en as the sponsor. This is the account for sponsor and the last update I am seeing is eligibility passed. Although we did medical and all. Am I supposed to create an account for my son too as principal applicant? Would that give me any extra information or all the information will come to email anyways?
I also created an account in status tracker under the principal's name, and link it to my ircc account. I received email (ircc account) everytime there's an update about my application. I like the ircc account than the tracker portal.
Congratulation! Was your child in Canada when PR sponsorship and application was in progress? Also how to track status of PR application and sponsor status? can you guide? I just submitted my child PR application through PR portal
