Hello everyone,
I’m a protected person just got approved after hearing and applying for pr now. I have some questions regarding my dependent child’s eligibility if any experienced member could provide me some guidance. My situation as follow:
Before I submitted my refugee claim my eldest dependent child already had full time employment inside Canada, her age was 21 years old when I made the claim. But now she’s above 22 years old. Recently when I’m applying for pr my representative told me she needs to quit her job and attend any school for her to be eligible. But still I did some research as there’s no financial requirement for dependent under 22 on the lock in date.
so my question is should I listen to representative or just include her as dependent?
Please provide me some guidance as it’s hard for me to decide now and want to know your thoughts or perhaps experience on this. Thank you and much appreciated.

Did she also receive protected person status? If not does she have a WP and when does it expire?

Her name was not on the NOD as she is not a refugee claimant. She has a WP which will expire on November.
Surprised she qualified for a WP in the first actually given she was the dependent of an asylum claimant. As an adult child over 22 of a protected person unclear whether she would qualify for a WP after hers expires. This is a fairly unusual situation. Will let others way in.

Sorry for the confusion, she is having PGWP right now
