Deeply Worried!!

i'm very worried, have been thinking about my wife and if she gets accepted the PR visa that this would be her first time on airplane and that she would have to sign papers and such once she reaches Toronto but she won't know what to do or where to go because Toronto airport is confusing place and definitely confusing for her with all the different gates for International and Domestic flights and then she would have to find her connecting gate to fly to my hometown. She is not bad about reading english and talking most english just some words or phrases she gets mixed up on, so very worried

Don't worry so much! I'm sure she'll be fine. There's a first time for everything...if she has any problems there's always a lot of help desks/security that she can ask.

theres alot of people comming in everyday who dosent even know ABCD well,
like my wife at one time. most passengers and people at the airport are very
nice, and I am very sure any one of them will be helping your wife....I do it all
the time. dont worry everything will go smooth

Everyone has said there is a lot of people that would help well im kinda skeptic because i've been in Toronto airport many times and when i came back from visiting her in philippines before i went through International part to go to pick up my bags and such to travel to the Domestic part and while i was waiting for my bag, i asked a porter guy that was helping with luggage that worked at the airport and i asked him which door i go into and his response was "What's in it for me" meaning he wanted me to pay him money for his answer of which door to take and i said back "Nothing" and I walked away in disgust

^I'm pretty sure this is the exception to the rule, I've been in airports plenty of times in Canada and no one has been blatantly rude. When my partner FIRST came to Canada, before we met, he was coming off a 10 hour flight, trying to find the bus to get to his hostel. He didn't have any Canadian change for the bus, so he asked a woman if she could give him change for a 10, for the bus. She just gave him a bus ticket that she had on her instead! Super nice. I'm always glad that that was his first impression of Canadians

Ei worrying won't help, before the time she receives her PR visa for sure you could have find a way. For now it's just gonna give you
"FEAR" which will result to stress. The right thing to do is just relax and think positive and hope that the visa will come soon.

my wife is also "priceless" hehe, one day i was talking to her and i asked her what are you going to wear on the plane and such when u come here and she just said ohh shorts and t-shirt and i laughed saying well if your coming before our summer months u better have more clothes on then that because u would be very cold with shorts and t-shirt lol. She's use to the hot weather in Philippines so she doesn't understand exactly how cold it can be here sometimes because when i was there in Phils and it was at night and got cool down to 25 C she was cold and had to get blanket and i was still hot lol. Plus she can't seem to understand the fact that we have heat in our houses and apartments for the cold months because all the places in Phils only have A/C and no heat

Your wife will most likely be nervous, so your job is to reassure her and let her know you have complete confidence in her! If you freak out, she will be insecure and more nervous than she needs to be. Immigrating is a lot to deal with, so she can do with some peace of mind.
Let's face it, what kind of mistake can she possibly make that isn't fixable?
Toronto airport isn't that bad, you basically follow the people who were in your plane, most of them will go through customs, some will go to their connecting flights. So following the crowd and pay attention to the signs you pass is a pretty safe bet.
Customs in Toronto are trained in dealing with people who don't have English or French as a first language.
If you go through the wrong door after collecting your luggage, I'm sure they will let you know. But mostly by just observing what everyone else is doing, she will get a pretty good idea of what she should do herself.

I flew alone once and I'm almost profoundly deaf. People are usually very nice and helpful. Maybe your wife could ask one of the flight attendants on her first flight if they would be able to escort her or help her find her way, they usually will!

ohhh now you will get me started on this commercial lol, now makes me think when im at my city airport and my wife walks off that plane and i see her, i'll start to cry lol then i would run to her
