Thank you for your reply. I know it's a long shot, but we still have to try. I will look into visitor visas for them for now, and hope for the best.

Parents Super Visa question - please answer!!

With the super visa, it's just like a visitor visa from what I've heard. So the parent who comes to Canada cannot work or study or anything right? I've tried searching on the website but can't really find any information on whether the parent can work or not.

HUBBY WENT FOR INTERVIEW IN BANGKOK

I think you'll be fine :) As long as everything matched what you put on the application, you're good! If you proved your relationship as best you can, all you can do is wait. I know it's a long process but you just have to be patient and know that your time will come.

If this is true, or it closes by the end of the month I think they will first finish up the files that have been there the longest. We still have people from December 2010! They should be getting PPR before the end of the month/before they transfer the files.

    Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

It's not routine, but it's not uncommon either. When my husband had his interview there were about 10 other people there (I think a mix of the family and skilled worker classes) having interviews.

    Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

Hello and welcome :) The entire process will take about 13 months. However it could take less than that, or it could take more. There's not really any way to tell, but you just have to be patient. Your husband can apply for a visitor visa, but the chances of him getting one are very low, since...

I am a Canadian citizen. And yes you can stay with your spouse (only if you're a citizen, not a PR yourself) for the entire process but they will definitely ask you to send proof that you will be returning to Canada.

    Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

I've been staying with my husband the entire process and it took us a little over a year so I don't think it has anything to do with being/not being with your spouse. Be prepared to send them proof that you will return to Canada, that's what we had to do in our interview.
