CANADIAN NEW YORK VISA OFFICE STINKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No communication, no reply to emails, nothing.

Is there anyone doing a job at their New York Consulate General?

What is the "volume" they have to deal with?

USCIS processes over 1 million immigration applications, is slow and ineffective at times but moves with speed of light compared to CIC.

What kind of bureaucracy is this?

GOOD NEWS DUDE(CANADA0801)...........

THAT WAS PASSPORT REQUEST, NOT REJECTION! COZ ITS REALLY UNLIKELY FOR ONE TO BE REJECTED AFTER MEDICALS DONE AND RPRF ENCASHED!!! CHANCES ARE SLIM!

Hi All,

Just got mail stating Final Decision has been made on our case and we need to send our passports for stamping within 30 days from the receipt of the mail. We are very very happy & excited with the news. But we have one concern reg our daughter's passport validity. Her passport is abt to expire on 12th Aug 2013. Mail which we received asked us to send the passports with one year validity. My concern is do I need to renew her passport and then send for stamping ( we just have 30 days to send the passports. If we apply for renewal and if god forbid, get delayed then what is our situation???) or once we receive the stamped passports, then go for renewal? Any replies in this regard would guide us.

BE POSITIVE AND WAIT FOR THE LETTER..........................

I real good news indeed!

Hi Canada0801,

Last when you posted your status was "decision made" and you were concerned about the status. Did you hear anything from consulate. any PPR or other communication on Decision.
