DECISION MADE WITHOUT PPR - NYVO , APPLIED 10/2010, MEDICALS DONE 03/12

I am in the USA and I am LEGAL here right now. Why would I want to go to Canada illegally?

This is not Asia, my fellow immigrant. Give bribe to border guard and you will be guaranteed long term sentence before they kick you out back to where you came from. Occasionally you may read the stuff you describe in news but it makes into news headlines because it's not a common thing here.
As to crossing illegally into Canada , what benefit do you get for doing that? Live in slums with 10 roommates and work 15 hour shifts that will rob you of your life before you know it?

Btw, the main reason I wanted to go to Canada was based on my assumption that it's less corrupted than USA and gives more opportunity in open competition to those who have talent, inspiration and goal to achieve something in life. I do not want to go somewhere to just drink Coca-Cola and eat burgers doing stupid jobs.

In US it is already very difficult to make a good living, even if you are a US citizen with Master's degree many good jobs won't hire you unless you are already "in" or someone with influence makes a referral for you.

Ineptitude and un-professionalism - a direct result of nepotism and hand-washes-hand culture had extremely detrimental effects here lately. So I want to get out of here and take my kids/family with me too.

Now if I knew Canada sells papers on border it wouldn't be a good place for me to escape from US, it would be a place to avoid....

I am already disappointed enough in Canada, reading experiences of people who were fooled to apply as early as in 2004 and now must wait another who knows what long to get their refunds.

I am more than sure that reason for my refusal is frivolous , but will wait for their official lettered response.

Culture of moral corruption (not necessarily a direct monetary corruption, as in Asia) is a cancer that spreads quickly on Western Hemisphere nowdays.
They no longer believe in values that made them superpowers of the world, instead they want to follow the steps of those who practiced this kind of disregard for human dignity , rights and values and ended up as a third world countries. It's crazy but it's a fact....
We are mere kettle, bureaucrat decides on his or her whim if they want to put our life on 1, 2,5 or even 20 years hold and there is nothing, nada, zilch that you can do about it. And everyone BELIEVES that THIS IS THE WAY to go. That's what Moral Corruption does to societies.
Canada is just happens to be it's latest victim.

or you received a Deniel letter. Several people have received Decision made status before PPR on eCAS. And actually that's how I believe this is supposed to work. but generally Decision Made is shown for very few people.. but there are example... This is 99% a positive decision buddy (If you have not received letter).

No I haven't received the refusal letter, but DM is posted before PPR.
As far as I understand DM before PPR = refusal.
May be I am wrong, we will see.

If I am wrong and they will issue PPR/Visa then what I wrote above still applies. It's total mind blowing , the ineptitude and inconsistency in App processing. I have sent 4 email inquiries got no responses ever.
Others get next day responses , some even got PPR one day and email response next day to come and get Visas stamped in person. In my case they simply chose to ignore any inquiries to update of app status.
Then look at how randomly they pick and process apps. I bet they have a huge jar and play lottery there by picking files they will process one or another day. You may have applied 6 months ago and already landed while someone may have applied 2 years ago and is not even in process yet.
This is ridiculous. No accountability, no responsibility.

Anyway, did you get your PPR yet?

Millions come here but they don't get here by presenting a handful of cash to CBP.
Of those who come here and stay illegally approximately half come legally but overstay their visas.
Another half comes illegally.
These people don't come here by bribing State Department or Border Agents.
That's what I replied to you.

But all that bee honey aside, I am currently legal in the States and do not need to go to Canada illegally.

Where I need to go probably no longer exists on this Hemisphere.
I wrote to Cam earlier that we have to find new places, new opportunities in the world.

I heard Singapore is good but they have rising issues with crime after they legalized gambling.
Dubai/OAE are another tax free business friendly region, but who wants to live in a country where you can be blown up any time of the day? Especially us, with US born US Citizen children.

So, I am actively looking in new, different directions.
Eventually I will find a place to go.

I will use this as an opportunity to achieve something better than what these idiots wanted to deny me
I value myself more and able to contribute more than I would take, no matter where I went to, as long as I am given a fair chance to perform my best.

Hi, Don't be disappointed for DMade after MR and RPRF payment if you are confident that you or any of your dependants not have a serious health or security problem that make your inadmissibility, nonetheless E-case is not so accurate as the VO for e.g in mine the mailing address above the status bar is wrong and I informed the VO since 5.6.2012 and still the same although they requested for a scan copy of a signed letter for them to mention that the address is wrong and type the correct one.

DM before PPR do not mean refusal ....its a good sign...your PPR is around the corner
Dont forget this people are human and sometimes bound to make mistakes. About the
ECAS status, dont worry sometimes it is updated late. I remember an instance l send
an equiry and got a reply saying they wont answer my question except via my representative/lawyer
and l have to reply them, that l NEVER employed the service of a rep.
They later replied with an apologies!!!

Just got mail stating Final Decision has been made on our case and we need to send our passports for stamping within 30 days from the receipt of the mail. We are very very happy & excited with the news. But we have one concern reg our daughter's passport validity. Her passport is abt to expire on 12th Aug 2013. Mail which we received asked us to send the passports with one year validity. My concern is do I need to renew her passport and then send for stamping ( we just have 30 days to send the passports. If we apply for renewal and if god forbid, get delayed then what is our situation???) or once we receive the stamped passports, then go for renewal? Any replies in this regard would guide us.

wait..so they denied you on the basis of what grounds? I mean they have mailed you a letter right..is that noc job descriptions mismatch... or what? you can file a appeal...
since they have denied you after MR done and before PPR...it can be that they have found some issue with your medical report....

man you can't give up like this..find out the root cause..and apply a solution.

if nothing work out.... and if you are ready to go USA or CANADA illegally (illegal status) I know some agencies...they take bribe and pay money to cbsa(canada) and USA border patrols and you are in.......

You do remember the reasons for us to immigrate, "wanting a better life, free from corruption, etc." So it would seem a little odd suggesting underhanded ways to a fellow forum member.

Also, im sure you've heard of IP traces and other good stuff .. the little message on the bottom right hand corner that identifies your connection / computer or your location. If someone wanted to point an officer in your direction it would be pretty easy.

I suppose I could ignore the message and the wiki link, but just coz it happens doesn't mean we " go alongwith it". Don't mean to upset the apple cart ... just saying.

Not really sure it is the same as what I have described.
The poster there received a letter that states Final Decision was made and along with it got request for passports for visa stamping.
In my case I have yet to receive a letter. The DM I got so far is not in writing with explanation but only on e-cas. From what I understand they change status to DM after they get passports and up until you get a Visa your ecas stays "in process" . Could DM before PPR mean PPR?
Are there any posters who got DM on ecas before PPR and later got PPR?
If yes then there is a possibility that you are right.

But I am very skeptical. After all current PM is "conservative" (someone very much against any immigration and so far has proven to totally disregard the common law principles of fairness by now refunding over 200 thousand applicants for CIC failure who collected those apps and warehoused for years without capacity or will to process).

I do not expect nothing but some frivolous excuse from this new "conservative" PM headed CIC to refuse my app.
