Hi,

I have applied in the year-2010, 10-April-2010, Ist Medical done in Feb-2013 Second Medical Done in Nov-2013, "Medical Received" updated in Dec-2013. When will DM updated on my case...Kindly suggest.

The very fact that ur ecas showed "MEDICAL RECEIVED" in Dec 2013, it suggests that u are through medical stage nd other BG CHECKS.If u do not have extensive travel history, u should be close to hear something from VO,which will please u, I reckon.

Do you have an idea why it is so late...I have in my mind that it is some doubt in NDVO about my case or -ve things...

Let me reiterate that, u should not have reason to worry. our files move through various hands before it reach the designated VO, who takes final decision. Since Medical results sent by the DMP are reportedly shown " RECEIVED " in ur ecas,the designated MO at VISA OFFICE(CHC) would have reassessed the same nd recommended ur file for issue of VISA, in context of ur Medical clearance.

u have to wait for 8 to 10 weeks in order to get status change in respect of ur application.

After a long wait,I just my ECAS has changed to DM Today.

And also the line says "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Will we get our passports back in Normal Indian post or Private services(like DTDC,FEDEX).?
How long it took for you to get the passports back after DM Status?

Friends. . After a long time I heard from ndvo and they called me on my phone. Asking for a new imm0008 generic form because of my marital status..I am separated now from almost 20 months..and they want legal docs as well as new generic form in which I have to say I am separated. ..But the issue is in the form there is an option if legally separated, but I have a divorce case pending and there is no legal separation in India. So I am struck with filling the form.Dear mates kindly help me on this.. in the last stage but facing an hurdle..Kindly suggest.

Applied On Sep 2010 ....

1st medical done on july 2012

2nd Re-medical done on july 2013...

its 2014 now....
& still my background check is not cleared....

Feeling really Low at the moment as 3rd Medical is about to come in July 2014....

God when you gonna finish this Long Long Wait !!!!!!

It depends on the service you/ your consultant hired to send the pps. The VO uses the same service. If sent through ordinary post it comes back in speed post, if through VFS or other courier services the same will carry back your pps. All the best,td
