I have read sumwhr tht we have to show CAD$ only or i think u shud take certificate from bank referring ur indian rupees equivalent to CAD$

If you are an Indian citizen you can show fund proof in INR. Be it in the form of FD

It does not matter in any currency. If you just convert in the current exchange rate,that's ok. But one thing you do,show more amount of money like C$ 500 more than the required amount, since sometime there is fluctuation.

Hi Target,

I am new to the thread.
But i am also waiting for DM Status.

Medicals submitted in April 2103 for me and my spouse along with passports and PRPF fee.
Also added my son as a new family member.

Got Medicals request for my son in November.
Medicals submitted for my son in Jan 2014.

Can anybody please guess the timelines..?
Also the other problem is my passport expires in August 2014 but my spouse passport expires in 2016.
Can anybody suggest about my situation in this case..?

If you get a PPR, the visa will expire in August 2014, the same date the your passport expires. I was in similar situation with that the passport was expiring in July 14, 2014. I was advised by my Rep to have it renewed very soon before PPR. I did that and the US passport took less than two weeks to come back. good luck.

It can be in any currency BUT on conversion to Canadian dollar MUST be equal or greater than that required by the number of people immigrating.

Binson i think you are in my category. My 3rd remedical is about to come in Month of july.& delay is bcoz of d background check.otherwie i would have got visa till now.

Do you know if your background is cleared coz dat is d delay after the medical take & its done by the 3rd party, so not in the hands of cic.

People with a job offer with Decision Made have had a 99.99% of success for a PR. I have not read anybody with a job offer that has been rejected at this stage.

When I got the Passport request from New Delhi, I was 8th month Pregnent, my Visa Processing was kept on hold , and in Dec we got the mail from NDVO to submit Baby's passport, but in order to submit baby's passport we had to request NDVO to send back our passports.Now we I got the passport back from NDVO, and also we got the Medical Request for my daughter as well. We are getting Her Medicals done this Saturday.

My Question is should I wait until we get the Passport request again for all the 3 Passports to be submitted , or should I directly send all the 3 passports explaining the details in the cover letter, and attaching other important required documents.

If I were in your shoes, I would send all documents together to the local VO (NDVO) where your originated from.

First of all ,congrats for new addition in the family.Her arrival is a good "OMEN" for all of u.

Please make sure to send all the docs., namely Medical Completion Form of the child + Payment Recpt issued by the DMP(having retained heir copies for ur record) + PPTS ,at one go UNDER A COVER LETTER DETAILING THE ENCLOSURES.

I am sure, u will have shorter B'fd. Sooner we Comply VO'S instruction, faster will be the process of ur file.
