1) Did you had a job relevant to your educational history and your course selection and are you on leave while you are studying in Canada and will come back to join it once you are done? or you are not on a job leave but your Study plan logically dictates that you will come back and join this job and Canadian education will simply enhance you employment opportunities?

2) Did you presented any property that you own pr you sponsor own and relevant evidences to back such claim e.g CA evaluation, Land and property papers, Holding Tax, electricity bill etc?

And what #wolverine says about Sponsors tax certificate and its assessment is quite essential!!!

Police clearance certificates should not be more than 6 months old and its always best to submit the most recent one !!! And UK police certificate will be issued only by the UK government .... So read my two separate past post on this thread and it will be clear !!!

@ vicky22 You made a mistake!!! You must submit a police clearance certificate from Uk as you have lived there for consecutive 6 months or more after turning 18 ( you stayed in Uk for 3 years, right?) . Here's CIC clearly demands it :

Original police certificates
You must obtain a police certificate for each country or territory where you have lived for six (6) consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18
Further instructions will be provided for applicants who require a ‘certificate of no criminal conviction' from the local authorities in Singapore

Reference : From study permit checklist Singapore (that you are supposed to fill and submit on top of your application), Read the Original Police Certificate section after the Study Plan section and Quebec section

In your case it will not be singapore but BANGLADESH and United Kingdom

How to get it?
I already gave you the link and still better you contact the UK embassy they will guide you accordingly. If you are still planning for reapplication I suggest hurry brother hurry ... Get it ASAP!!!

And then you also must wait for the official rejection to further perfect your reapplication!!!

OK. I have received the decision from VFS and my application was declined. Please help dear expert brothers and sisters. I am writing below the problems that the visa officer has stated. Please advise how and what to submit as I am very unsure at this moment.

* Pursuant of section 219, Immigration and refugee protection act:
------ Have sufficient and available financial resources to pay tuition fees for the course
------ Have sufficient and available financial resources to maintain yourself and family members (my wife is applying with me)

*You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay:
------ Purpose of visit (I submitted an one page study plan and answered all the questions, don't know what went wrong)
------ Your current employment situation
------ Your personal assets and financial status

On my wife's decision the only condition was not met is: *Purpose of visit.

So I have showed a Pensioner Fixed Deposit / Bond held by my father in a post-office for about three years. The amount is equivalent to CAD$ 35,000. My tuition fees for the first year is $12,000. Me and my wife as a dependant are applying together. I guess the amount CAD$ 35,000 is enough for that? Please advise.

Also, I am not sure how to successfully meet the other conditions. Your expert advise will be highly appreciated.

Sorry for this decision brother. let's discuss about it now :
You see, just when you told me that you have shown CAD $35,000, I implied in my response that, this is not sufficient as you have a dependent. The CIC website normally advice that you should have ; Tuition Fee + CAD $10,000 ( living expense ) + CAD $4,000 ( dependent's expense ) + CAD $2,000 ( for misc. or proof of transportation cost ) in your account.

But, in reality, it is nearly impossible to satisfy a VO with a closing bank balance of CAD $30,000 ( even for SINGLE applicant ). The larger the amount, the better, i.e, the VO can conclude that, as you have a large amount of money in your account ( and other financial proof certificates as well ) , you are financially sound and you will not seek for the help of canadian government or will not have to do any job to bear your expenses.
As you have a dependent with you, $35,000 is not enough to satisfy VO, you gotta show atleast CAD $50,000 ( and various financial supporting papers ) to make 'em happy.


For the part that you are not going to return , these are the things you require :
*Strong closing Bank Balance
*DEEDs of assets you/sponsor owns
*CA verified statement
*Affidavit of sponsor
* A very logical 'ESSAY' ( SOP )

I am going to do a 2 year long Diploma Course at North Island College. The course is Web and App development which is related to my professional and educational history.

I have completed my bachelors in Graphic Design and Multimedia, then I have done a Post Graduate Diploma from the UK on Design and Art Direction. In the UK I had a very good part-time job completely related to my field of study. I used to work as a Web Developer and Graphic Designer.

I worked there for almost three years and left the job with a senior level position but under the part-time status. All my education, professional records and the course I am perusing is related to each other.

Also, I am very unsure about how to meet the financial conditions. In such a worried situation. Kindly advise.

yah bro, you can show Bonds. If your father is your sponsor , he MUST show these resources. Take your father's business certificates, bonds, property certificates, bank statements . ( literally, EVERY PAPERS which involve MOVABLE and IMMOVABLE ASSETS ) to a Chartered accountant. If you are from Dhaka, I would suggest you to go to ' Matin & Co. ' I did mine from them. oh, plus take your father's TIN certificates as well. They will provide a valuation of these assets and calculate a Net Worth. I think VO trust a CA report more than anything.

YES your sponsor can show his property as your home tie, actually he really needs to!!! As you do not hold any job it is so very important that you show property. As your sponsor is your father, at some point you will inherit those so his property does make up for a logical explanation for your home tie. You need to prove existence of such property by CA evaluation, housing tax return, eletricity bill etc

If your course is 2 years then your minimum cost of full tuition + 1 year living cost +1 year spouse living cost+ misc.+ travel cost comes to :
(12000*2)+10000+4000+?+2000= 40000+?(you have not considered the misc. cost of books,health insurance,personal expense its all written in your LOA). Now your postal savings of 35000 does not make it upto the minimum that you required. I would reiterate what wolverine said convincing VO need candidate to show at least the whole tuition+you and your spouse 12 months living+ other cost.

If you education choice was a logical progression then I would presume the study plan needed to be more clarifying and more logical for the VO.

But even if you fix all the problems that you have just mentioned there is still a big probability of another no for you unless you submit the police clearance report from UK.

And yet again I am sorry. Stay strong. Don't loose hope. This is not the end of the world .

@vicky properties and assets are not count as funding but rather as your home tie. Liquid cash in forms of FDR,Savings account, Postal DEposits , dps etc are counted as funding , provided that you show proper evidence for it as your sponsors money and its overall cleanness.
