December Application OINP

Hi All,

I just received ITA today i.e, 2nd Nov, 2016. (60 days deadline to submit the application)

My CIC account expires on 6th Nov, 2016.

Will I be able to load my existing application using my current application number once I create a new account on 7th Nov, 2016.

Yes there are all chances to see most of the nominations. Also those with 472 will get ITA and leave the OINP race. One more draw like this and many will get direct ITA. So you can definitely dream of nomination this year.

You might get direct ITA too. Good luck.

Just wondering ... with such high volume of nominations coming through all of a sudden, wouldn't the cut-off score for ITA increase? If it will not increase, then that would mean the 2016-17 qouta would be exhausted more quickly since its a finite number.

Well that's the idea. I mean federal has to decide. Do we fix the number of federal ita every month independent of pnp, or do we take it into consideration. only cic can decide.

My guess is that delay in OINP processing and the increase in number of nominations now would result in a backlog on CIC end now. So either ways, Jan / Feb. folks like me shouldn't get their hopes too high for an early grant even after nomination comes through.

Once you receive ITA, you're profile is taken out of EE pool. So, you can continue your eAPR without any problem.

For new profile, there is no means to automatically load details from current application. CIC suggests you to take screenshots of your existing profile. However, you don't need to worry about this, if you already have an ITA.

Then all you need do is send an email to ontarionominee and express entry with your file number in the subject and attach the EE PDF showing your new EE number and job seeker code.

i don't think so. because until your 600 point not getting updated on your profile , you won't get ITA.
you have accept the nomination before draw and overall point including 600 should show on your profile.
