As per CIC's Processing time Tool below is the time to process your Paper Based Applications for Federal Skilled Worker

Between 27th Feb 2008 to 25th June 2010 - 77 Months
Between 26th June 2010 to 31st December 2014 - 19 Months

So Considering this they must have cleared the paper based application backlog in July 2016 but as you can see draw size was not more than 1000 till September.

One more thing to notice that they have the separate quota for PNP as well so the ITA also include the applicant's who has the PNP like OINP , SINP , BCNP etc...

So why not they are increasing the draw size to 5000 ?

what I noticed is that SINP is giving nominations as we speak in less than 30 days for hundreds per intake (this has been happening on a monthly basis since June)
so for that single province alone it's around 2500 nominations in 4 months.

I'd expect similar numbers if not more for other provinces similar programs like master/PhD streams and base streams

And also there are many University students graduating every year, apply for PR in paper based and not falls under express entry system, The number would be at least with range of 10000-15000 every year!

And think about sponsor ship, wife dependents for each primary applicant ITA, altogether comes to the predicted number

After the launch of the express entry , i don't think any one can apply using paper based application. They all must have to go from express entry only.

And till now they have issued 23902 ITA's so lets assume that on an average each application include 2 person (Someone apply as Primary Applicant and Spouse and One Dependent and someone apply as primary applicant only) than also it is somewhere around 48000.

hi forum members.
I have a question regarding my friend's application, Ontario asked her for pay slips & bank statements showing income from a company she worked at. But she has 2 problems with this document.

first, she has received her salary in cash for her first months at the company.
second, the company is now closed down.

what do u suggest?

well, it's not the case, SINP had much more OID than EE intakes.

master and PhD streams still paper based too

When you say SINP or OINP , it's all PNP program and CIC has separate quota for that

not all PNP programs are there in your table.

the paper based "base" streams are not included

Hello Guys,

I was looking for the IRCC's 2016 Immigration target and then i looked into the Number of ITa's issued till the latest draw and it seems there is a huge huge gap between what they have targeted and what they have issued. Have a look in below figures.

CIC 2016 Immigration Plan (Included Only Federal Skilled Worker and PNP excluding Quebec)

Low High Target
Federal Economic 54000 59000 58400
PNP 46000 48000 47800
Total 100000 107000 106200

Well, these figures depict number of immigrants NOT number of ITAs. If IRCC has issued 23902 ITAs and considering there are on average 3 people per application (PA + 2 dependents),they have invited nearly 75k people.

I did submit my letter of intention previously.. however, it wasn't enough. My officer want's me to tell them if I consider Ontario as the only one province I would like to live in. I have the relatives in Quebec. So the officer VK wants to know if I have any thoughts of moving to Québec.

Got the request for addtional docs, pof and other employment related docs such as salary slips, savings account showing salary credit, proof of hours worked and responsibilities in job.

I am ok with all except for current roles and responsibilities. My org does not provide any such doc and its nowhere available over company intranet.

Though i had shared the link of my linkedin profile that has responsibilities, i am worried.

Please advice.

What do u think guys ?

I apologize for this long message.

This is purely my research based on CIC and OINP websites

Alright, lets talk some numbers here. CIC last year invited 31,063 applications through Express Entry System. Considering that they match up to these numbers they would have to send another 7,161 ITAs (31,063-23,902) out. Lets assume they follow last years timeline I.E 4 more invites out on Nov. 13, Nov. 27, Dec. 4 and Dec. 18. that will be around 1,790 ITAs on an average. This for Express Entry. This is what we can expect in the coming 2 months.

According to the budget/numbers of immigration allocated for 2016 is 106,200 ( I.E including Federal Economic —High Skilled targeted invitations of 58,400 and Provincial Nominee Program targeted invitations of 47,800). They are lots of categories included in this number.
For instance -
1) Many CEC applications which were submitted before 31 DEC 2014 were pending, they had a backlog for almost 2 years. They ended up almost bringing this number down to 4-5 months and very few applications left.
2) If someone applies under these categories and has any dependents they are included as well, etc. So don't assume they will send another 79,000 ITAs out.

Lets talk about OINP-

Ontario PNP has many categories the total allocations for them this year is 5,500 (1.8% of the total allocation of 300,000). They have reached the number of APPLIED application for few streams this year. Based on what is happening with many members I assume they haven't completed 5,500 applications, which is good for all members.

What changes can we Expect?

Based on my research(OINP website and CIC, links given below) the budget for next year should be released by end of November 2016. This gives a little leverage for OINP to start issuing more nominations.(Based on the updated message from May 09 2016)

If they ain't many applications in the express entry with a score of 450 and above (just to give you an example - as of Jan 03, 2016 they were 2510 current profiles, they keeping increasing if more people have made a profile or awarded 600 points) we can expect many nominations directly from Express Entry. So in this anticipation just keep your express entry profile updated.
Keep in mind these assumptions are based off last years info. they might send more invites out if they have to achieve more than last years numbers. (Refer to Year-End Report)

You can take a letter from senior , HR or any other Department head possibly on letter head or else with name designation and email and phone details of senior describing the roles and responsibilities you perform with dates of joining and and any promotion.

Avoid writing letter of explanation saying your office is not giving such letters. don't say anything just send them what is required.

you have not mentioned details. By saying payslips for first months do you say you have payslips for the rest of the period worked. May be if you have 6-12 payslips it can suffice the requirement. Not all payslips are required.

One must either have payslips and/or bank deposits of salary. Company is closed so may be you cant get a letter explaining about cash salary paid and payslips not given. Still however if you have the proof of job advertisement or job consultancy for getting a job, a letter of contract or agreement or offer letter, appointment letter it can still make a difference. These letters should contain job title, number of hours worked, salary paid, roles and responsibilities, office timings, holidays details whether paid or not during holidays and correct date of joining and leaving the job.

Guys,

I am a CEC outland candidate and have received additional document request.

1. Updated proof of settlement funds – 6 months of recent bank statements showing savings
2. Additional proof of work experience at XXX Canada –
12 months of consecutive pay slips
12 months of bank statements showing corresponding salary deposits
Appointment letter
3. Updated IELTS test score

On point# 1, we have FD on my spouse name which is maturing in 2017/2018 which contributes 30% of my settlement funds. Should I get a letter from bank saying these FD can be broken any time and money will available any time?

On Point# 2, As my back up hard drive got lost, I don't have payslips neither appointment letter to Canada. I have already provided the experience certificate on company letter head as well as my T4 and NOA. What should I do now? However, I have requested bank to provide me the statements showing salary was getting credited to my account. Please help.

I have got 15 days to submit those.

1. Yes
2. Get both the bank letter showing salary credit and also send email to ex company to provide salary slips again.
Send this email copy / screenshot to OINP and also send the response (even if it is a No from the ex company ) to OINP.
BTW, what's your timeline ?
also did you receive the additional documents request today i.e weekend ?
