Good point! +1

I'm assuming you want ITA ASAP yes? Then accept now, if you'll need a little more time to get your DOCs ready then let it expire and then contact OINP with the new profile information.

What kind of docs they ask for?? also what is "e-APR"??

Really? You've gotten yourself this far and have not looked at the next step? I'm surprised...

Well, basically similar stuff to OINP but they have more forms to fill out and you need to get Police Clearance Certificates from the countries you've lived for 6+ months. e-APR is the federal process, the one the starts after you get and accept your ITA.

You'll need to upload all the required documents, which you'll be told as soon as you accept the ITA, and then you'll eventually receive an AOR... they'll process you docs ask for you te get medical exams, do the background check and at the end you'll get your PR.

I think i will go ahead and accept the nomination since the profile will get frozen, instead of taking the risk of creating a new profile and sending Ontario to transfer,...

What do you think? (few more days will not make a difference)

If you got an ITA you profile will no longer expire.

Doubt this. other applicants said that a profile will only freeze after submitting the application and receiving AOR. anybody with such an experience could confirm this please?

After AOR they freeze in the sense of your IELTS, ECA etc... Basically all you documents must be valid on the AOR, after that if your IELTS, for example, expires then it's not a problem.

which is true?

Check this out - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/invitations.asp

It says "Your Express Entry profile will expire if you are not invited to apply in those 12 months." From that I understand that so long as you're invited to apply within 12 months (before it expires) you're OK (it will no longer expire) and the ITA is your Invitation To Apply, so your ITA will prevent your application from expiring.

First of all know that there is nothing like accepting an ITA. your 60 days have already started tomorrow you will see 59 remains. So start getting pcc and get medicals done. If you decline you will get another ITA next time.

I have received ITA this morning. Can someone please tell me what is e-APR and how does is relate to ITA or PR application? I am little confused.

Thanks everyone for your help and wish all of you a happy journey.

eAPR is electronic application of permanent residence which you submit after you receive an invite (ITA).

Thank you Stanlee.

Do I need to update CIC after I submit my e-APR and go outside of Canada for few weeks of Vacation?

You need to update only if your contact details change post submission of eAPR.

I have been cautioned for giving advice too quickly, so let's break this down...

You want a PR, right? So for that you need an ITA, which will start your eAPR process...

To get the ITA you need lost of CRS points so to help you get those you needed a NoM.

To get a NoM you decided to apply to OINP... So far the process is working for you ;-)

Now you have two choices, accept the NoM and get the ITA, but you've obviously not looked into what's required for the next stage so you may like to think twice before doing that. In fact I urge you to look here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

Item two describes the documents you'll need to submit after you've accepted the ITA... Read all of that calmly and make sure you can get everything in 60 days before you accept the ITA.

If you don't think you can then play it safe, let your profile expire and create a new one, contact OINP to transfer your NoM over.. That will give you an extra time!

If it were me then I'd accept now and avoid the extra hassle of contacting OINP, but I'm comfortable with the next steps so make sure you are too before proceeding!

Best of luck to you!

Yeah i guess you are right because there is still no initials between brackets for my file number ! Then lets see what will happen. I sent the ECA and sent them an email proofing that it was processed but didn't get any feedback from their end.

the next weeks will be long days of waiting till we here sth positive :)

I got ECA request on 13th Oct, i ordered it on the 14th and was shipped and delivered on the 17th according to update from WES. I called OINP today 19th to confirm if the ECA report has been received. The operator said it may have been received but not yet updated on my profile and also said my application is in the second stage with the investigator analyst. He said i should call back next week Friday to check again.

Stanlee, Always nice to go through your pointed answers.

Is your post ITA process smooth. Any delays or it is as per your expectations.

Based on the current NoMs pace, draw size, do you for see NoM's for all AoR recipients by year end?

Appreciate sparing your time on this forum.

talked to the OINP operator.
