Okay apparently there's another breaking news!

All of you know that the flow goes like this -

There's a new strategy now designed by OINP -

For Skvach, the timeline is like this -

What's going on!

Rajkamal: Skvach file is handled by current, trained officers, who are sending the file back and forth!!! This is shows how inefficient they are.

Assume the new recruits who are going to join for processing the files!!! They will take lot of time to really handle, take decision on the files

Raj, bestofluck, skvach, All members:

In response to the advt. can't we request some of the CEC applicants on this forum, who have WP and the experience OINP listed to apply
The CEC applicants from this forum are more knowledgeable and can process the files efficiently and quickly.

I have had the same:
Feb: your app is at last stage
March: your app is at 2nd stage
Sept: still waiting.. (today is 15 months after noi)

Once the file goes to Senior officer he might revert back to Investigator/Analyst for further Investigation, or some clarification in details. This seems logical to me. And this is in favor of applicant.

In efficient processes you go forwards, not up and down.
The officer in the final stage should assume the officer in the 2nd stage already did the check so there would be no reason to send it back.

What is the use of Senior officer then, if he has to obey what Investigator Analyst remarks. HE is the person who would ask them to investigate again in details and revert back the file giving fair chance to applicant. Then Investigator ask for further additional documents. This has happened to many. they have asked for additional docs more than once. Process is a process, it can go forward and backward, it not time which will never come back

that's not a process. that's hysteresis

Nope - that is why the Waterfall Method is not at all efficient for SDLC. Going back and forward is actually not efficient but this seems to be happening. So, they are inefficient in handling the applications, IMO, if this back-and-forth thing is happening.

Raj: Multiple scrum masters are required... and few agile experts .. This will be effective only if there is a will to improve the processes....

@MZASAM they will do something when the realise what they are doing is Orthodox. They don't realise anything instead in the next bulletin they will come out and say OINP is the best in processing and highly in demand.

OINP's "annual appraisal" (IRCC annual report 2016) will be issued in Jan. 2017. They cannot give any lame excuses as they will be compared against other provinces (BC, SINP...) .

So before that OINP needs to get their figures right and have no option but to issue hundreds of nominations every month, for the remaining 4 months of the year.
