I think we will see more and more applications returned after 1st June. all DD's getting over in June and they are stil not sending AOR's.

I got the below reply for my inquiry.


Dear Sir/Madam,

This refers to your recent correspondence:

Our records indicate that your application was deemed incomplete for missing. The application package was returned because it is missing required information and/or documentation on May 3 2016.

You should be receiving your application package and an attached letter shortly. Please note you are required to submit a copy of this letter along with your new application. You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to resubmit your application. It is important that you ensure that your application is complete and all required documents attached.

Please note that no further extension will be granted after the expiration of this 30 Calendar days.


Thank you for your interest in our program.

Furious to hear that they will return that they will return the package saying incomplete for expired demand drafts.

that might be their strategy because they already promised they will process all applications and this would be the best way to return majority of the applications.

hemche did you get the mail after you Inquired about your application? I mean was it the reply of your mail?

I also sent them a mail and got a standard reply saying it will take time as they have a backlog.

Don't know, when the application package reaches me :-\
Got to check with HDFC bank about DD expiry date. They confirmed, it will be 90 days ??? My DD date was Dec 04th 2015.
Speculating it, to be one of the reasons for return.

I have called HDFC bank and they confirmed that DD (which is in CAD) is valid for 6 months... DD which is in INR is valid for 3 months.

I guess DD will not be a problem in your case. Let’s See....

I have still 27 days left to encash my DD... Hope they will..... :-X

Indian DD's are also valid for 6 months unless it is printed on DD that valid for 3 months. all Indians in December group are waiting more than 3 months.

@bestofluck, Yes it was the reply for the case specific mail i have sent to them one week back. Regarding, Returned Application package, once i receive it, i will confirm, whether it is due to expired DD or any other missing document. I hope that i receive my package soon next week. Anybody have idea, how many days it will take to receive the returned application in India? I am highly worried about 30 days timeline they have mentioned. Just praying God, so that application package reaches me soon. Regarding DD, i have reconfirmed from the guy whom i took the DD (HDFC bank official), that it is valid for 3 months (It was Dominion bank in Canada).

If it was in return to your mail that means they have sent you the package much before they replied you. You must have recd your package by now. Because when they return your package they do send a mail. You have not recd the mail means there might be a mistake in replying ur mail. may be your application is not returned

Lets rule out usual culprits

1) Did you send photocopy of your entire passport ?.
2) When was your passport issued ?. If it was less than 2 yrs old, then copy of previous passport ?.
3) If applicable - did you send your marriage certificate, children birth certificate and Primary Applicant's birth certificate ?

Is Marriage Certificate is mandatory if we include Spouse in our application?

I think, i have not included my Marriage Certificate in the package....

Will they return my package??
