recd AOR. only one person is nominated i.e kora. and that to within 8 days of getting AOR.

Wow that's awesome. Looking at the timeline it seems that we are in the same boat. I mean both of us' application was received on the same date.

yes 4 of us on 22nd Dec

It means that around 1700 November and December applicants have got their AORs.
From 1 Dec to 8 Dec there are around 300-400 applicants. (late November file numbers are like 16013XX)
And between 23 November and 8 December there are around 600 (23 November file number is 16011XX)

They had been receiving approximately 45-50 packeges per day in those months.

Is there a possibility if they meet their quota to reject the remainder of applications and send them all back, and all this waiting would come to nothing? are they obliged to process all those who received PT notifications?

Yes they will process all applications that are received and complete... Atleast that's what the ontario site says about processing of applications beyond the quota

Well technically it's OINP sending PT notifications, so this whole process is moderated by them. There is no way that there could be more applications then they anticipated!

as per the above which I quoted 40 applicants per day in Nov/Dec will mean 2400 at least total, which is beyond their quota

Just thought to share..

Just got of the phone with OINP, baritone voice answered and asked when I submitted and I told him, he then asked my last and first name and then mentioned my middle name to confirm after which he said 'Your application is over 90 days and so you should here from us soon'. I told him I was happy to hear that and he chuckled, I thanked him and wished him a nice day!

Now will he do something and I get AOR soon, I dunno but it's almost as if calling the OINP office is another level of EOI...

Hi,

I have applied OINP under CEC, walked in and dropped my application at Toronto Downtown on December 18, 2015.

I have also sent an email to know the status of my application on December 20, 2015.

I received an email from OINP on January 11, 2016 as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your application package has been received in our office and is in queue for review by an officer. Due to the high volume of applications being received, Acknowledgement Letters may take longer to be issued.

If your application is complete, you will receive the letter from OINP by email to indicate that your application has been accepted for assessment.

If your application is incomplete, your package will be returned to you by Purolator including the payment.

Thank you for your interest in our program.

Does it mean that my package has been received on January 11, 2016?

If it is such, as per the current AOR processing time, can I expect AOR by the end of May?

I have to update my mobile #, but to update that, I need file number to be filled in the change of personal information form.
Do I have to wait for my AOR(to get the file number) to update the mobile #?

3 weeks it has been 1 AOR per week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
