Let me try to explain here

The funds can be in a joint account with wife.

The problem is if the funds shown in Bank Statements is not old enough say 3 or 6 months old, they wants an explanation where the funds came from in your or your spouse account. If your in laws have gifted just before application they will ask about further details of in laws and their Bank statements.

This may not be asked to everyone. So just wait for the additional doc req.

In my case my father gifted me the funds. But the funds were only few days old so they asked for my fathers Bank statement, may be they wanted to know if the funds were borrowed. This is what I understand.
Ohh u are back??? Where have u been for so long?
Every one had been missing u!

At the time of sending my OINP application package my mom transferred substantial amount in my account approximately 12000 CAD. This was just 3 days before I sent my complete OINP application. To show from where this funds came in my account I attached gift deed, copy of my mothers bank statement, copy of the cheque which was used to transfer money into my account and copy of her PAN card and passport.

In my wifes account we showed 10000 CAD in the form of fixed deposits which were more than 6 months old. So I dont think this will be a problem.

your situation is more or like me. Hope they don't ask you the same thing.

In such a situation you will have to send mom's Bank statements and the source of funds. IF your mom has withdrawn the FD and got the funds its okay or else it will be a matter of explanation. They want to check parents account whether they sold of shares, or withdrawn the FDs. They make sure parents dint borrow the funds to give you. This is what I understand from my document request. I also send them the old FD copies which were withdrawn by my father to gather the funds to transfer in to my account. so now I am safe.

Digital D: I feel safe. Since Dec 2015 I parked more than the LICO and never touched.

But DD, assuming we get the NoM again we need to submit the PoF after ITA. Am I right?
So what's the logic; submit updated to OINP, and subsequently to IRCC??
Logic is, OINP can't presume that applicant will provide proofs/docs to IRCC, and based on assumption it can't put applicant on next pedestal. Before they give nomination, they have to verify that applicant is genuine and meeting all the required criteria. IRCC will also need the docs which are in their list, but since province has already done verification, they may process us faster with only high level of verification except PCC and medical.
Anyway we are ready for OINP/IRCC

The WES/ECA: Even after sending them the duplicate order along with the application, again they are asking the access to WES.
Same as above.
Please share your thoughts.

Well, OINP and IRCC are 2 different agencies. IRCC has it's own set of checks and simply because an applicant has been nominated by province, they won't forego their checks. There has been instances where PNPs were refused PRs by IRCC.

As for WES/ECA, when they are requesting 2 documents from an applicant they think it safe to request for WES access as well rather than waste their time in checking whether the applicant has already done the needful.

Imagine they are dealing with 1000's of applicants from various countries and each applicant has sent tons of confusing documents along with dozens of LoEs so it's faster to cross-check with the applicant rather than search in heaps of scanned/digitized docs.

@ DigitalDestiny, it is okay if the PCC get expired after 6 months...but how can ECA expire in 5 years? How can the education expire? Is it not a money making thing? They will reduce the validity of ECA to 3 years soon !!!! And increase the IELTS validity because it is not earning for their country !!!! :P :P

That makes sense. At the end of 5 years, applicant need to submit all docs again to WES or just to pay the fee to get a copy with new dates?

wow..that's so stupid. Latter case I can understand. For latter case it can be argued that they charge you for keeping you in their database for 5 years and within 5 years any organisation can verify you with them. If you want to extend it for next 5 years, pay them.

But doing all over again for same credential and same candidate is stupid and archaic.

Ok yes in my case my mother broke one FD and transferred the money into my account. I did attach her bank statement though. I will see if the bank statement shows somewhere the FD was broken. Will it be better to attach the copy of broken FD?

Guys......something out-of-the-world happened to me three hours ago.....just one day after getting the decision phase email, got NOMINATED....cant believe it...just cannot....
Given my NOC, I believe this nomination may help dispel the theories about NOC based nominations.....
