Anyone know the number OINP is calling from? I got a call from (905) 214 0237. Unfortunately, I missed the call because my phone was on silent.

I called this number went to voice mail. Says thank you for calling TD. It's a bank.

I just noticed that most Dec applicants are CEC not FSW

yeah. around 25 max are FSW. others are CEC. hopefully that's a good sign assuming the CEC guys will be wrapped up soon.

If FBI PCC is obtained AFTER you have left US, then it remains valid forever (provided you do not re-visit US).

If you are in US or re-enter US after obtaining it, then PCC is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

FBI PCC would take at least 3-4 months to come considering current processing time of 12-14 weeks. ( )

Iam currently based in the US .I was checking if this is the best time to apply for the PCC or wait for more movement on the December applicants . I received my AoR on the 17th of June. I held off applying for the PCC as it is valid only for 6 Months as you said .

Your FBI PCC should be valid on the day you submit your e-APR (post ITA). If you apply for PCC now, you should get it around Dec. 2016.

The trend appears to be that FSW-Outlands are getting nomination after 5 months of AOR but you never know.

FBI or OINP timelines are not in our control so better to initiate the FBI-PCC process sooner than later.

I def dont see a trend of five months.. I would advise to see what happens in Sept with nominations and then decide to get it or wait..

There is no "trend" now. As it is clear as water in a glacier's icecap, October/November 2015 applicants are still waiting for nomination! Hopefully, the nominations should start sometime in September.

"Please be advised that our records indicate the file referenced is at the second stage of processing, pending review by an Investigator Analyst."


What does that even mean?? I got AOR back in the second week of June and still only 2nd stage. How many stages are there? Fifteen? :'(

When you got the AOR, it is already mentioned there that do not inquire about the status. they will inform you about Assessment phase and Decision phase.
By sending them emails we are delaying our own nominations. Everyone should remember this.

They will notify us once our file moves to assessment phase and then decision phase. Its clearly mentioned in AOR mail too.

accounting wise; it makes sense not to send a 2nd one since you already got one, otherwise they'll be affirming double billing
