Seriously??
You will get your DD back by Courier. You have to take that DD to your bank to get it cancelled.

JND999 they dont send and reply. IF you have sent through courier and you have the date recd. it is enough. just relax, they will do the rest.

@rajkamal - not everyone follows the thread religiously, and some like me previously would have created account and forgot about this thread cant do anything about that.

@JMD999 yes you need to inform, because if at all they call your office and ask your details the Designation or job duties will be not the same as you have mentioned. Firstly you must mail them about this stating the date of Designation and duties changed and if NOC is changed mention it too. Than you must fill out the form as discussed here in previous page ( The personal History update), And yes congrats on your promotion !

You do not need to. It does not affect your application.

@wildemam, it does not affect application but they might call up the office for verification and the Designation change will matter. may be the duties and NOC have changed due to the change. Play safe is the best option.

e,g if you are Sr. Engineer and promoted to Asst. manager all duties change. Even NOC sometimes.
