That's odd. Usually LPP is updated first but yes, looks like the system is a bit slow in reflecting the updates. You should see LPP marked as complete in the coming days.

What is your timeline?

This is my timeline. I hope LPP gets updated before oath

Hey Guys,

Can someone provide info on below points? Sorry I am asking them again, when this should be available in search.

1. On the day of Oath what documents we need to bring with us.
2. After the Oath, I read that there is online certificate - which we need to download -
3. How long it will take to get the new passport ? and whats the process

Thank you

1. You will get instructions.
2. If it's an in-person oath, you'll get a hard copy at the ceremony (even if you asked for electronic).
3. After the ceremony you'll need to wait 2-3 days before applying. From applying in person, from one day (only super-urgent with proof and extra $$$) to 30 days. If using mail, extra time for mailing at both ends.

Thank you so much. This really helps.

It says we need a guarantor and 2 references - I have guarantor as my cousin who is citizen here; but I do not have references whom I know for 2 years. I am in college where I know people for 1.8 years. any feedback on how do we get references, Thanks a lot

Got email today on instructions to download citizenship certificate. Logged in to the tracker and saw my profile was updated today with oath scheduled for April 9
LPP still in progress
Sorry, I am confused. You got instructions to download citizenship cert when your oath is scheduled for April 9th. And all this is on the tracker while LPP is in progress? :O

& how about the passport, did you apply already?

if you are able to download citizenship cert - why do you care about LPP? make sure to take the oath though,

P.S. a citizen without oath is like a chicken without head

One guarantor is fine as I remember. Try to clarify this information with Service Canada, they should have a help desk.
