Sorry, I am confused. You got instructions to download citizenship cert when your oath is scheduled for April 9th. And all this is on the tracker while LPP is in progress? :O
& how about the passport, did you apply already?

if you are able to download citizenship cert - why do you care about LPP? make sure to take the oath though,

P.S. a citizen without oath is like a chicken without head

Thank you so much. This really helps.

It says we need a guarantor and 2 references - I have guarantor as my cousin who is citizen here; but I do not have references whom I know for 2 years. I am in college where I know people for 1.8 years. any feedback on how do we get references, Thanks a lot
One guarantor is fine as I remember. Try to clarify this information with Service Canada, they should have a help desk.

I can't help you on that. If it's really 1.8 years, then perhaps just wait a couple months.

Or dig harder: people only have to have known you for two years. That's all they're attesting to. They don't have to be citizens to be references, as I recall.

References can be anyone that you've known for two years, friends who have moved to Canada with/before/after you should work as well.
Please see who cannot be a reference here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/travel-documents-references-guarantors.html

I am no longer able to login into tracker. I have done fingerprint and test already.
Anyone else having issues logging into the tracker?
I am stressing out
Just wanted to update here in case anyone else runs into this situation, I had to recreate the the account for tracker. when I entered my uci and application number it automatically picked up email and sent me the access code, after entering the code I entered the new password and i was able to login.
My test was updated to completed and everything else was in progress

Hello fellow applicants,
I hope someone can confirm: my test window is from Mar 7 to April 5 and I took it on Mar 7 and got 19/20. Since then my application tracker hasn’t updated the result and there’s still a reminder saying the test is waiting for me. Is it normal? Will this reminder be removed once IRCC validated and updated result?

thanks in advance!

It takes some time to update. In my opinion that's normal. But still you can call to IRCC and verify that your test was received.

Well, its not normal, but not an outlier either. How about creating a webform and calling IRCC?

Hey Guys,

I got the email with an attachment which has instructions to download e-certificate.
"Please find the instructions to download your electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate (e-Certificate) in the attached document." I guess this is different from the letter which is mentioned in the tracker as below.

Follow the instructions we sent to you for information on:
  • how to attend the ceremony
  • what documents you have to present
Will there be separate email from IRCC for instructions on ceremony etc.?

Status: Oath schedule on April 10
LPP - Still in progress
Citizen ceremony in progress
Oath Scheduled update - march 15

Yes there will be a separate email. you'll get it no later than a week before your oath date. If you don't, you need to call IRCC asap.
