December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Those who have been scheduled for the citizenship ceremony, when did you receive the email with all the instructions on how to attend this? I am scheduled for 26-March. Haven't received any email regarding this.

I just received mine today for in-person ceremony, scheduled March 24.

My application timeline is as follows:

- Dec 16, 2024: Application filed
- Feb 4, 2025: Citizenship test update received
- Feb 10, 2025: Scheduled for the citizenship test
- Feb 14, 2025: Test status updated to "Completed"

I received a fingerprint request on Feb 19, which is showing on my tracker. I provided my fingerprints the same day, and they were sent to the Vancouver office. However, I haven't received any updates since then.



Is anyone else experiencing delays with fingerprint processing?

Gave my fingerprints on Feb 14th. No updates since. There’s a bunch of us in the same boat it appears. Full timeline in my signature.

Did my FP on Feb 21st, called RCMP today and they said it mailed from RCMP to IRCC on Feb 27th, still no update.

Mine was done on Feb 14, I just called IRCC, the agent told FP is recieved on March 09, which is Sunday. I asked how it is possible as Sunday is weekend, he said the account showing March 9

Do you know when the RCMP dispatched your fingerprints to the IRCC?

I am no longer able to login into tracker. I have done fingerprint and test already.
Anyone else having issues logging into the tracker?

I just tried - it should be working fine. Try another browser or cell phone.

I tried everything, I phone tablet laptop pc
Every major browser
mobile data and wifi as well. Nothing works

thats very strange. If you have also tried resetting your password, are still using the correct UCI / password - then the only option is to try calling the call center and findout whats going on,

I checked my tracker on 8 March and was updated on 08 March too saying 04 New Updates but after that till to date 12 March Nothing changed and the New Updates also disappeared.

Anyone else experienced this??

i called IRCC and the officer told me that they receive my FP yesterday and he cleared it today. I hope he is not fooling me, and i asked when it will be updated on my tracker he said it will take a couple of days. but im wondering if an officer open a file there should be a ghost update right? im not sure just wondering.

Just about every step seems to take a few days to show up. Not uncommon to see the date some step (eg LPP) is done three/four days before it showed up on tracker.
