The previous agent from the other day told me Scarborough. The one today was being evasive about answering LPP question. Just that it isn't completed yet but added that my application looks to be progressing really well considering I just applied at the end of December. whatever that means lol. I kinda take this stuff with a grain of salt.
Then I think maybe they will schedule you for oath soon if they transfer the file to another office? Actually when I called the staff also said oh your file looks good and nothing is open or pending, but he didn’t say anything about progress and LPP is not started yet, I called twice and both agents said the same thing. But due to the fact that Vancouver is the most slowest office … I should not be so hyped up and asked 10 ppl to be my reference and guarantor…

Thanks for sharing. When did you call IRCC and when did your LPP complete according to the agent on the phone? I’ve seen applicants have their tracker take 8 days to reflect LPP so wondering when your LPP was done by the officer.
Tracker got updated today- LPP completed March 20th it says. Just waiting for the Oath Invite now.

How do you know that Vancouver is the slowest office?

Tracker updated today but test is showing not started and language in progress... Background, Presence and Prohibitions are completed...I don't need test or Language due to being over 55 but they seem to be holding up things...can anyone else in same boat for age share what their tracker did for test and LPP... please...

I believe I read here in a thread for both of these that they may not show as started/completed until much later, i.e. if neither of those apply to you due to age, don't pay attention to them. If that's true you may not see anything until the oath notification/invitation.

I'd appreciate if you update later what happens, a family member put in application recently with same circumstances.

I am wondering if non-routine cases from other provinces are assigned to Vancouver for LPP? (Vancouver as primary and Sydney as secondary),

Anyone from Toronto or other places who has had LPP cleared, knows if their LPP office was Vancouver?

I got an interview request today after completing the citizenship test and updated after 3 weeks. I sent in my application on Dec 6, 2024. I am not in Canada because I have to leave Canada in December to take care of personal issues but I went to Canada to take the test. I also had to resign the job I had and still have some work to do for a couple of months to complete my stuff outside Canada. I will go to the interview in person but I am really concerned if I will be rejected for any of these reasons? Especially not having a job in Canada atm and I am currently unemployed. Any body in the same boat or any tips please? All other stuff is accurate and complies with what they ask on residency requirements, no criminal background, language requirements etc. I have no intention to hide or misrepresent my situation and I will say why I am not in Canada during the interview
