did you take your fingerprint to local police? how long will it take to be completed the BG after fingerprint?
I just go to agency today. They will send it to RCMP electrically and than will send to IRCC. Probally need a mounth to completed the whole process.

Test invite updated feb 10th
Test date feb 21st to march 22th
Got a ghost update feb 13th
Hopefully background is coming in couple days, or maybe a fingerprint request.
Got the Fingerprint request, Kill me! Haha.

Just to mention, first day of my test priod is tomorrow, so maybe do not try to find an order in procesing steps, it completely random.

It's not random. If your BG doesn't clear before your test invite or withing 2 to 3 days after your test invite, you are most likely getting a fingerprint request.

Has anyone tried giving the citizenship test earlier if you already have the email from them? is it advisable or does it even work?

How are the questions... if I want to do mock test, which software I should use?

To reinforce on moman21’s post, I would say there definitely is a random aspect when it comes to the fingerprint requests. The most common reason is that your name and/or DOB is similar to someone who might have criminal records and/or prohibitions, but sometimes people get the fingerprint request I think just by random selection. I’ve been living in Canada since I was a minor, never travelled continuously for more than a week, have a combination of first, middle and last name that probably only 2 people on the planet have, never even got a parking ticket in my life but still got a fingerprint request.

bottom line, don’t be alarmed if you got a fingerprint request and someone else did not.
Hi,

since you have given the fingerprint last Feb 14y

Yeah thats we will do the fingerprint tomorrow, do you know if they already forwarded to IRCC the result of your fingerprint?

The questions are relatively easy. I honestly got confused by 1 question only but it wasn't the one I missed cause I googled the answer right after LOL I have been doing low studying for the past 2 months (about an hour a week), including taking the mock exams online. I finished the test in under 10 mins.

You should use Google Chrome browser to take the test.

Here is a good practice site:

Hello all,
Joining this forum today with a 31 Dec 2024 AoR.

My current status is that I took & passed the test on 13 Feb 2025, which is also the day I got a fingerprint request. I went and had the fingerprints done the same day.

Sadly, so far my test results have not yet been updated on the IRCC tracker, and it still says "waiting on you" to take the Citizenship Test. I'm hoping it'll update soon.
