TRV is temporary resident visa or visitor visa we generally say. Current time between submission and AoR is around 90-100 days. We can just wait and watch how things work.
We submitted the application on 22 Jan 2022(On the online portal, it's showing Status as Submitted and view button is disabled ), Is it okay to apply for TRV after Spouse application submission? when we should think of applying TRV, what intent we should show?
Thanks,

I have read too many posts about spousal application getting rejected if you, being a permanent resident, travel out of Canada for an extended period (2-3 months). I submitted my application on 2nd December 2021 and I'm afraid if I fly out for a couple months (perhaps in April/May 2022) to be with my spouse, my application will get rejected.

I have not received an AOR yet, and I know we are all in due course of receiving one.
I was actually considering withdrawing my application and requesting for a refund, until someone in the whatsapp group mentioned that if I stayed a little longer i.e. till I get SA at least, the probability of rejection is reduced. Is that true? Any worst case scenarios?

Also, how far into the application is it considered acceptable to withdraw application and request for refund - considering that's the box I ticked on IMM1344 form, or is that solely for ineligibility purposes?

I don't understand what advantage you would gain from withdrawing instead of waiting and risking it being rejected (apart from the loss of fees - which seems the least of concerns if the whole process can take a year, and you seem to be ready to take several months off anyway). But that's up to you.

The 'wait until SA' theory is just that, a theory - it may be true but no real way to know. The logic is that IRCC may check if you have departed at several 'points' along the way, such as at AOR or SA, when ready to make preliminary or final decisions, or at some other specific points in the process (as opposed to monitoring throughout or some other timeline to check). And if you try to only be away when not close to those decision points.

Again, no way to know - it's a logical enough theory and appealing - so maybe it does work that way. But maybe it doesn't.

So leaving aside that the way to beat it is by not being out of Canada for several months ... it's up to you to decide. Best is to avoid being out of Canada for anything but short periods. If you think timing it will help - up to you; it might or it might not.

Appreciate your responses always, armoured. Thank you!

After creating tracking account as a sponsor, check whether sponsor contact is properly updated in the bottom of the overview page. Mine was outdated, it had old address and email which I used when I became PR. At the bottom of the overview page, click “view all contact details” link, in the next page at the bottom you will find an option to submit web form to correct details.

Yes ! Either sponsor or PA can create. U need UCI number, a PA will not have that info till they get AOR but a sponsor will already have a UCI. UCI can be found on sponsor’s PR card or COPR Doc. So a sponsor can register and track as of now until AOR. Post AOR the PA will have their own UCI, with that they can create another account for themselves to track it seems.

Tried but failed. Looks like the Paper Applications will have to wait for AOR1. Anyone with Paper Application able to register without AOR1

Yes ! It seems it’s not working for paper applications. I am part of a WhatsApp group where many paper applicants told that they were not able to register for this tracker. I believe they will have to wait till AOR. https://chat.whatsapp.com/IuG52OnqhjcD1rENj5kwL4

Hi people,
I have a doubt and need some clarification regarding the address for sending the paper application package. It is true that we sent the outland paper application to 49 Dorchester St., Sydney, NS.
However, while sending my wife's application I asked the courier service person for the same address but they additionally select - PR CARD in the address as well which I assumed which was fine at that time. But today I found out that CPC Sydney have a different department within same facility. One for sponsorship application and one amongst other is PR Card processing as well.
Now, I have a doubt that of my package has been delivered to correct department or not. (Sent package on 14th Dec and it was delivered to "49 Dorchester St. - PR card" address 15th Dec)

Does anyone have any information/suggestions on this matter?
Your response is appreciated
Thanks.

Buddy not sure what to say. But the best thing to do is call IRCC and enquire abt it. I am part of a WhatsApp group for DeC 2021 applicants, where paper applicants are calling IRCC and getting their temporary file number. This way u can make sure whether ur application is received by them or not. Ask in this WhatsApp group how to contact IRCC they will guide, I am not sure abt it. Hope this helps! https://chat.whatsapp.com/IuG52OnqhjcD1rENj5kwL4

Hello,
I(Sponsor) got the below message while creating an account on https://prt-srp.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register. I have submitted an online application for my Spouse on 22nd January 2022 and on the online portal, it just shows the status "Submitted", there is no application number issued.

"Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on your application. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your application is not in our system yet."

Please advise.
Thanks,
