So if it says Application Received, does that mean AOR and the request for urgent processing is accepted? Did you also get an email about it? Today I could login and it says Application Received, is that reason to be excited or would everyone get that?

If I'm not mistaken, it technically does not mean that's the AOR. As for urgent processing, it may be a good indication that they have accepted it. Pretty much they have entered your application in the system which is a good sign. Congratulations! So if it says Application Received, does that mean AOR and the request for urgent processing is accepted? Did you also get an email about it? Thank you. I guess based on your timeline so far, I may know more in about 3 weeks. Yours went to in progress right? Did you get any communication from them or just through ECAS?If I'm not mistaken, it technically does not mean that's the AOR. No communication, I have just been actively checking on ECAS.Thank you. I guess based on your timeline so far, I may know more in about 3 weeks. Yours went to in progress right? Did you get any communication from them or just through ECAS?
Congrats! Do you know of anyone who asked for Urgent processing after getting application received and it was approved? Does it make a difference if you ask for urgent processing after or at the time of application submission? Please update. Ecas told me my application is now in process (since January 5th 2021). Guess my request for urgent processing has been accepted
Honestly I don't know much. I do think there are a few people who have done so, because of medical issues with family back home, and it got approved. No harm in trying. Doing it at the time of application would be faster because you cut down the time before AOR (which in itself can take 2 months).Congrats!
